Excellent location, staff very helpful. Best breakfast of anywhere we stayed over our 10 days of road tripping

Overall I would definitely stay here again when visiting Asheville. The staff were very friendly and greeted you every time you entered the lobby. The room was relatively clean (just a little dust on the restroom shelving under the sink). The amenities were nice for the price point. I didn’t partake in the breakfast but it smelled good. The location was easy access to Downtown Asheville.

This place looks fun and shiny. Don’t look too close cause you can see the age. The floors are thin. People were walking overhead all night and highway is loud. Ask for a room on the back side of the hotel with no one overhead. This was Best western at its best.

Nice stay in Asheville. Close to a lot of restaurants. Breakfast and parking was included.

The room was decent. My only complaint was that it was too dark and felt very uncozy. The staff was absolutely amazing and went way out of their way to make my stay great.

To level set expectations, we did not go into this thinking it was the Grove Park Inn or the Biltmore. One day three of our stay we could not get into our room. Housekeeping advised the batteries in the door's key card reader were weak. The assured us they would let the front desk and maintenance know. After a long day we returned to the hotel and still could not access our room. After a long wait the night clerk was able to use her master key to open the door. The next morning, while checking out I asked to speak with the manager. I was informed she was not in. I left her a polite note asking her to call so I could share an unfortunate situation with our room lock which had still not been fixed. The day has gone and gone and she has not called. Yes, the hotel is clean and quiet but, as the time honored saying goes, the devil is in the details. If the manager has no interest in addressing guest inquiries and issues it's no surprise the stay have any interest in responding to guest's needs. The room rate and location does not stand out and given the many options in the immediate area it may be worth your while to look elsewhere.

The hotel is very well-located, being close to the BRParkway, downtown, and pretty easy access to highways. You're about 10-15 minutes from everything in the area. Things were basically clean. The staff were largely friendly and helpful. Breakfast started early which is appreciated. The fresh berries they had two mornings were a welcome surprise. The gym was better than what we've usually found in most comparable hotels. For a hotel that was not exactly crowded, it was surprisingly loud. The walls are very thin and sound comes through more easily than you'd expect. -Voices in the hall. TVs in other rooms (not blasting). Engines in the parking lot (even on the fourth floor). Frustratingly, the alarm clock was very easily accidentally bumped into an ON position when plugging in a device on the top electrical outlets. We were woken up twice at 6 AM, which is our mistake, but we didn't realize what was happening until the 2nd time. (Badly designed clock.) Doors are impossible to close quietly. Any time another guest came in or left their rooms all the doors are very loud and easily heard. It wasn't the guests' fault. The breakfast was better than some, but like most hotels in the USA, healthy choices are hard to come by. Some days they had better choices than others.

My room (417) was ok BUT right across from the Ice Machine!!! And selfish people at 7:30 am decide to fill their coolers with FREE ice from a NOISY ice machine across from OUR ROOM!!! Also had an inconsiderate neighbor (room 415) talking loud and carrying on AT 2:30 IN THE MORNING!!! I had to knock on the wall for the idiot to SHUT UP!!!These rooms have NO insulation or noise barriers between rooms, so guess what?!!!! Up until AFTER 2:30 and Up again at 7:30!!! Sad Sad Sad But aside from that, a nice hotel!

The cleanliness of the room and hotel. Stayed on the 2nd floor and heard loud foot steps from the level above every night.
