Holiday Inn Express Richmond - Midlothian Turnpike by IHG

We never had cleaning service in 7 nights' stay. No clean towels available over the first ones we received. Construction on my floor without any warning.

The staff was so friendly and nice

The staff was great and so was the location for what we needed. The facility needs some overall work to the rooms.

It was disappointing to find out the pool was closed during our very hot stay /soccer tournament but other than that , it had everything we needed .

No issues.

The hotel reflects how this hotel is being managed, very poor in all aspects!

Gym being renovated was not told this until check-in.. Tub and sink in room backed up had to get a plunger and unclog the sink and bathtub.. Poor ventilation after taking shower room hot and sweaty AC half worked.. Check in was good. Only one working elevator that took for ever to close or be called.

Disappointing

Staff was friendly, and the outside of the hotel was well-maintained. But the inside and the rooms are all very dated at this point. Everything looks like it's the original TV, furniture, fixtures, etc. The mattresses were very lumpy and lopsided. Was clean enough, but everything just feels old. Again, the staff was good, the breakfast was also just fine.

Ver good breakfast with excellent. But slow, coffee machine.

I didn’t like that all the big trucks were parked in the front leaving the handicap people that park on the side and then to walk all the way around there’s a big parking lot to the right I would think that they would have all their trucks on that side.

The sink was clogged and had to be unstopped, the hairdryer made a horrible noise when in use and started smelling a burn smell but was never replaced, they had not vacuumed the room well and lint and french fry laying in the floor next to the fridge.
