SpringHill Suites by Marriott Miami Downtown/Medical Center

The room smelled bad, bedsheets had stain, the sofa bed had mold, the bed was very uncomfortable. when we went to have breakfast i asked the lady that works there if the waffle had eggs because my daughter is allergic to eggs and the lady had no idea what i was saying she actually tried to give me scrambled eggs and i said no does the waffle have eggs? She wouldn’t answer me so i just told my daughter not to eat it.

Air conditioning was subpar felt hot in my room . Let the front desk Clark no the problem. He said he would send a engineer but never came so sad cause I never come back there

The rooms were a good size and roomy. The staff was very helpful. But…. The rooms smelled damp like wet dog. There was mold by the air conditioner. You could tell it had been flooded and also the hallways. It just wasn’t pleasant. The toilet was very short so you had to squat very low. Take that away and everything was good. Food was good.i loved that you get a free meal or drink.

I was really impressed with the staff and the rooms at this hotel. I loved the setup of the room and it made it really easy to get ready with several people because of the unusual setup. Our room had a shower with sink and mirror and then the toilet also had a sink and mirror in it so you could use both spaces to get ready. I felt they thought out every detail to maximize the space. The beds were very comfortable and the room was the perfect temperature. The staff was caring and very helpful. They seemed to care about making our stay great. I would choose to stay here again when we visit Miami.

Hotel was clean, staff was not the greatest.

The front desk staff were stiff and not very welcoming. The bar and food were a very real issue. Simple food orders took over an hour for most guests. I waited 1 and a half hours for avocado toast and then told they were out of avocado. The people next to me had order chips and guac. 40 min prior and told they were our of avocado?!?!?!

The staff were wonderful and willing to help. Our room was spacious and perfect for our short stay. Only negative is the amount of time the hotel put a hold on our credit card.

This hotel is extremely close to the cruise port. The rooms are very roomy and comfortable. The free breakfast is good.

Booked this room before our cruise and our stay was amazing. They are very accommodating I was able to check in before 3. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Hotel was clean and location was convenient. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Having a parking garage was very convenient (you do have to pay a nightly fee). They do not have a free shuttle to the cruise terminal, there is a third party that provides shuttle services, but you have to pay. They do have a free ride service that can take you around to locations within 2 miles. Overall good experience and convenient location.
