Moxy Miami Wynwood

What a fantastic location to be close to the Wynwood walls (a hotel that is the backdrop) and an eclectic community. Restaurants were fantastic, quite pricey, but not surprising.

The staff was welcoming, personable, and warm. Did I enjoy my stay?! It wasn't bad but I wasnt comfortable. Something was wrong with the a/c... it wasn't cooling the room. It was a bit uncomfortable. I tried to adjust it and to no avail. The staff member did his best in trying to assist me and that was appreciated. It wasn't until in the morning when the air kicked in.

We got there at 2 am and weren’t expecting the full blown party in the street vibe. If you are for the loud party scene, it is a great place. Also close to the cruise port. The A/C wasn’t working well and we couldn’t get our room to cool off. Other than that, it was clean and that is always very important to us. We would stay there again.

My issue with payment is still going on they run my card over 7 times I’m glad I’m with a great bank and they blocked the card and didn’t let any of the transactions get through.

Not about the property itself. We purchased the breakfast package. It was so lousy we didn’t even bother eating breakfast the second day. Basically we paid $25USD x 8 for some flatbreads.

Staff was kind of rude. They don't actually own the pool so you feel like you don't belong there. Just kinda meh.

Service for accommodations sometimes lacking

I loved how moderate and a touch of old school the room had. I really appreciated the great location that's close to many attractions, and I loved that Brooklyn Chop House was conveniently inside the hotel. The front desk staff, including Emily and another young lady, were so welcoming and incredibly helpful. Emily especially went out of her way with the wonderful recommendations she provided, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I left feeling very happy and satisfied with my experience at the Moxy.

I liked the location. The staff members at the bar checkin were exceptionally nice a s well as the parking service attendants. However, my main problem was that the website indicated that parking was $40 a day and I was charged $45. When I addressed this with the parking attendant and check in clerk, they said it was taxes, which didn't set to well with me, because I could have parked at the port for $35 a day, actually less because I'm 100 percent disabled. I didn't like the parking situation. If it states $40 that's what it should be. I parked there for convenience, not necessity. Additionally, the spacing between the beds or lack of is a safety hazard, but ok for a one night stay.

Great location, good bed The pool was closed for two days due to a private event. It is surprising—and disappointing—that the hotel restricts access for its own guests while prioritizing external visitors. Access to the pool is included in the room rate, so being unable to use it is unacceptable. Breakfast is not offered as a buffet but as part of a different “concept,” where the bar functions as the reception, lounge, and breakfast area. The offering is quite limited, and items such as fresh fruit and yogurt come at an additional charge. The air conditioning was extremely uncomfortable—far too cold throughout the hotel. It made my stay quite unpleasant, and I even became unwell as a result. To make matters worse, the windows in the room cannot be opened, leaving no way to adjust the temperature.

The hotel itself is very beautiful — stylish design, great атмосphere, and an excellent location in Wynwood. Everything is close by, and overall the vibe is great. However, there are some serious downsides, especially considering the price. First, the noise insulation is very poor. For this price point, you expect comfort, but you can hear everything — both from the street and from the bar. It makes it very difficult to sleep. Secondly, the biggest issue was the temperature in the rooms. It was uncomfortably cold, and there is no way to properly adjust the heat from inside the room. I had to go down to the front desk several times, but my issue was never resolved. Also, there was only one person working at the front desk, and they were not able to effectively handle the situation. Overall, the hotel looks great, but the lack of comfort and service makes it hard to justify the price. I stayed at Moxy Miami Wynwood. Clean room but deadbolt didn’t work and if you closed the. Bathroom door you couldn’t open it and the pool was only open until 5 pm where it wasn’t listed anywhere!!!!

Location in Wynwood neighborhood is perfect. Breakfast without gluten free options. When we ask the second morning to be able to take couple items from their “supermarket” they said simply no… Not really customer friendly. And the included breakfast was pizzas only… Far away from the breakfast we can encounter in other establishments. Rain showers had a massive leakage so we only used the small shower.

The front desk staff was amazing with trying to accommodate early check in. Also the bed was so comfortable and the shower was super nice. The streets in the neighborhood looked a little sketchy at night but during the day totally fine.

Hotel was beautiful and bartenders were nice, friendly and welcoming
