Nice clean hotel. Food (breakfast) was barely ok. No onsight valet or parking

Hotel is in a good location, but nothing special. Directions to hotel not great. No parking, so need to park in sketchy lot down the street. Rooms are just ok. We stayed here as close to a concert venue. I think cost in the upper $200’s, which is too much for this hotel. Breakfast was pretty good. Will i stay here again? Probably not. Quality of rooms, parking, cost.

This is a decent hotel for its location, but I think they need to update the rooms. The space near the lobby is nice, but it’s a little confusing… Is it a lobby, is it a coffee shop, is it a bar?

Great place, but a special shout-out to their coffee program. Fresh ground beans at your door when you wake up? Yes. Next level.
-
Attentive and helpful staff. Very nice boutique hotel.

The rooftop bar was nice but only opens in the evening. The main restaurant wasn’t anything special, the atmosphere was not what you would expect from the photos on their website and it felt more like a local diner. The service at the coffee bar was subpar. The front desk staff was fine but didn’t seem very professional. The bell staff didn’t bother to offer help with my luggage nor open the door for me when I arrived. The room had a nice view but overall outdated and lacked what you’d normally expect such as a smart TV. The daily fresh ground coffee to your room was nice but the add-ins and condiments like sugar, sweetener, milk, etc. were limited. Overall I was disappointed as I expected a lot more from the reviews.

Great hotel, perfect location, close to the farmer’s market, downtown Durham, easy 20 min drive from the airport. Quiet, clean rooms. Excellent front desk person who went above and beyond to make sure to make us feel welcome. Free covered public parking during the week-end days. Not the first time we stay there and it will not be the last one! Thanks!

This hotel promised so much and delivered so little. Staff were indifferent at best

Superb

Enjoyed the roof top but long wait times. I had to 2 free drink tickets but they weren’t given to me at check in so I never used them. My room had all the set up for coffee including a coffee pot but no coffee or creamer. Otherwise enjoyed our stay.

We were lectured by the front desk when we checked in about using a third party to book our room. When housekeeping did our room, they did not replenish toilet paper or provide enough towels. The room is fair but very dark and cold feeling. Not impressed with this “4 star” hotel.

The Front Desk staff was wonderful! They were helpful and kind. They made a huge difference in my stay. The room was nicely appointed, though it had a few wear and tear issues. The location was great.
-
Great location...staff was upbeat and polite...an older building but clean and styled nicely. Great rooftop bar and nearby is Queenie's for a delicious sandwhich and drink...also offering Kingfischer if you are looking for a fun cocktail, speakeasy vibe...would stay there again

Great staff. Amazing roof top and easy waking to everything.

Roof Top Yoga was outstanding. Room and Shower were very nice. Parking easy. Great nearby walking distance restaurants
