The Beacon Charlotte Airport

This hotel is good for maybe a one night stay. We stayed 4 nights and had no towels for 2 days, no help from front desk for dysfunctional keys, pool and laundry room unavailable, breakfast very mid, the room smelled musty, and the couch was stained up. I could barely enjoy my stay.

I got no response when asking of clean towels and there were no phone charging port in the room.

Parking was easy. The hotel was accessible in a pleasant location. However there was a venue behind the hotel that hostel a very loud musical party was a very loud bass that kept me up until after 1 a.m.

I like that the people was friendly oh the breakfast was cool Room 522 wasn’t clean I brought wipes with me to clean the rooms and the wipes were so dirty especially in room 522. The comforter wasn’t clean. The carpets need to be clean. My family first night spent cleaning your hotel room.

This place used to be a Springhill Suites but was under new ownership (as Beacon). Staff was nice but the rooms were not clean. Bedbug remnants and our door's deadbolt did not engage because it looked like someone try to pry the door open. We tried 2 different rooms on different floors. Every floor smelled like weed, both rooms had stains and were not properly cleaned. We ended up leaving and stayed someone else.

My room was clean, the appliances worked, and the this hotel was convenient for travel. I recommend.

Horrible experience! First time being at a hotel that charges you in full up front and charges you the deposit up front as well. So, check in and I guess there was only one person working the entire hotel and he was extremely rude. Get to the room and the sleep sofa was nasty looking including what appeared to be years of stains, one of the lights by the bed not working, no soap by the sink or in the bathroom, and when I go to call front desk the phone didn’t work! The breakfast buffet that was advertised online is really just 2 hot plates with eggs and sausage or bacon and the first morning we were there the waffle machine was broken. They also advertised a snack bar and deli…..everything was gone….very few items to buy. We had to drive out to get snacks and this hotel is not in the best area of Charlotte. So in summation AVOID AVOID AVOID! The pictures on the internet make this place look waaaaay nicer than it really is!! Horrible experience and oh yea everyone says they are a manager but when you have an issue pass the buck to another person.

No pool. Ac was good shower was dirty sheets were dirty no extra pillows no extra sheets. Not the best unfortunately.

I've stayed at this hotel numerous times under the previous name. They need to do a good spring cleaning on all of the rooms and furniture.

It was wonderful. Right near the airport.

Pleasant

the room had a broken toilet seat, staff wasn’t too helpful and my group was told they never had a pool at their facility and you aren’t able to change the temperature for the ac unit if it gets too cold

This is not a fancy or updated hotel. This is a “need some rest for tomorrow’s duties” kind of stay. It’s clean and the staff is nice and helpful. The room we stayed in was comfortable for our big family and shuttle service was provided to and from the airport.

I didn’t like how dirty the room was spots on the furniture didn’t really wanna sit on it at all the floors and carpet knee cleaning coffee pot was dirty. Couldn’t use it.

Nice staff. Breakfast was great. Eggs sausage and potatoes delicious and they also had packaged muffins and fresh muffins, packets of oatmeal to make and batter for fresh waffles to be made and individual sized cereal bowls and juices and coffee and teas and fresh fruits. Room was clean and comfortable. Sofabeds are never comfortable anywhere I’ve been and it was old looking. Parking was free and convenient
