Nice location, very safe place, near to restaurants and bars, they offered me one free beer in their speakeasy bar which is quite cool. I definitely recommend this place :)

The bathroom was cool The mattress was so god dam uncomfortable, it was like there was a permanent body sunken shape. Curtains barely existed.

Amazing location! Very helpful and friendly staff. Cool bar connected to the hostel! Bathroom facilities were quite small for the number of guests using them.

    Exceptional

The staff is really cool and friendly. It’s great to be connected to the downstairs lounge and bar, and to be so close to the nightlife and restaurants on sixth street and downtown in general. There were also a lot of events and outings planned, and a whatsapp group to stay connected! Overall, the vibe of this hostel is social and outgoing—but you can still find your spots to hang out, decompress, and relax. I thought the facilities were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. This hostel sees a lot of traffic it seems, so it’s definitely well-loved! I felt safe in my dorm, had ample space for luggage, and was thankful for the elevator when checking in and out. I found it really cool that the age of hostel goers was varied! There were people in their 20’s to their 60’s and everyone got along. The midnight kitchen tea debrief after having gone out and listening to live music was the highlight of my weekend.

It was very well maintaned and all the staff was so incredibly nice and helpful! Met some amazing people! Also there was a free beer shelf in the fridge where you could help yourself to some texas beer! I thought that was a super nice gesture from the hostel!

Location is unbeatable - great food, great party - you’ll get there walking. Also it feels pretty safe. Also I didn’t expect the bed to be so good, everything was very comfortable and very clean. The staff were so kind since I checked in until I checked out. I’ll definitely stay there on my next trip. There’s a bar in the lobby which I enjoyed a lot - but I had some roommates that couldn’t sleep because of the noise. It’s not that loud to be honest - but you can definitely hear it. Music stops at 2 am, so be aware of it.

    Very good

Great central location, staff incredibly kind and welcoming! They should definitely try to keep the common areas, like bathrooms and showers, much cleaner. It was pretty unpleasant.

Best location downtown near bars and clubs; staff were helpful; beds are comfy, and showers work just fine! Don't expect to sleep before 2 AM. It's very noisy. At 2 AM, the bar inside the building closes, and the street gets quieter.

Central location. Fun and welcoming vibe. Felt safe and cheery. It’s a bit rough around the edges and I didn’t even try and sleep until the thudding music had stopped at 2am

Nice enviroment, good location. I met amazing people whom I shared my stay with. I will stay again if I need to do it in the future. The room was insanely cold. I know some people in my room complained but apparently that is something that the hostel can't change. It was not only my room, it is a problem of every bedroom. I find the place a little expensive to be a hostel. In general I do not pay more than $50/day when I stay in a hostel of this characteristics but this time I had to pay $70/day. I do not know if this was because the Austin Reggae festival or it is common in Austin to pay this price, but I found it a little expensive. This was, however, the cheapest option nearby.
