Staff very unfriendly. Place needs a make-over. It is too dark and uncomfortable looking. A downer Location of the room. I felt like I was pushed to the least desirable location. Difficult to find your way. Too dark

The retraunt and bar are closed for renovation.

Great price per stay. Older hotel but clean, great staff and location. Not a busy area with easy parking.

This was my first time staying at this location and I wanna give it a four out of five stars. When I initially arrived, it was really easy to find parking. Check in was smooth and they did in fact have those yummy cookies they talked about at other reviews. Got to my room and it was pretty standard. Not in a bad way, but it's what I expected. You could tell the building is a bit outdated, but nothing too crazy. Like, it's good, but just occasionally some of the wallpaper was peeling, or the chairs weren't in the best condition.But again, it was good.It wasn't something that affected my stay. They have a patrol officer at the entrance as well of the property which made me feel more comfortable and safe knowing that there was someone out there in the parking lot. It was super close to all the stuff around the area like downtown asheville, and the biltmore estate. It was close to gas stations as well that were lit well, so overall, a really good area to stay at if you are going with family or solo trip.

Elevator had stains on floor and butlers dolly to put luggage on needed to be cleaned. Rooms were very clean, staff wonderful. Food good and by an large nice place to stay.

The breakfast was very good. I had the french toast and it was light and fluffy. The coffee was hot and flavorful. Service quick. We had breakfast there the two days we stayed.

Location was convenient, especially if your going to visit Biltmore House. The hotel itself was not what i expected from a Doubletree Hotel, dated and the rooms were average.

We loved our stay. Staff is wonderful, rooms clean.
