DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Chicago Wood Dale - Elk Grove

Not the standard of what you would expect of a Hilton Double Tree. Rooms needed to be updated.

The room it was clean, good but the ceiling and the walls has water leak, which is make the scene uncomfortable for the eyes the mattress for the bed. It was very uncomfortable. It was very beat up. We had a very bad night trying to find a spot in it comfortable try to use the swimming pool swimming pool was not clean. Have a lot of paint chips inside the water, which make it very dangerous to swim in it.I did not see any supervision or any manager coming to try to make our stay more comfortable also the building was under construction, which is make it very tough to go and maneuver around the construction very bad experience for me and for my wife we were not happy at all for the money we spent.

Staff was friendly and the room was really clean

The hotel was clean and well-maintained, with excellent exterior lighting that made me feel secure. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay, making for a very positive experience.

The hotel was basically clean, but could be better. The condition of the property was poor with needed work to be done. Clean paint and wall-paper needed. The carpet is only in fair condition at best. Vacuuming needs to be everyday and not left to the judgement of the staff. People generally have higher standards. The front desk staff is good.

Dirty, rundown hotel. Clogged sinks and showers. Ripped curtains, pillow stains.

The stay was good until it was constant arguing and fighting from the neighbors kept me up thru the night and trying to find a working ice machine was definitely a cardio workout and still did not find one. No turn down service was provided the construction outside was an eye sore the cookies were amazing though bathroom was kinda dirty but didn’t complain just cleaned it myself overall it’s an average stay that was interrupted with fighting and arguing from neighbors

Lovely people, nice location

The carpet was not very clean and there was spots on the wall where something was splattered on the wall

Room was clean, but the most notable thing was the staff. Fantastic service.

It is an old property in the middle of a remodel on outside but needs some work. Nothing around it.

Clean room better sheets had stains on them and wink was clogged

Green room clean area very nice views only thing I would say staff would need to be just a little patient and clarify the breakfast thing

The bathrooms were not clean, the sheets had a smell to it. There were stains over the carpet in our room. There wasn't even regular cleaning done during our stay.

Nice room! King bed, with TV and then a sitting area with a TV.

This hotel is a horrible nightmare top to bottom - avoid at all costs.

Good experience overall

It is a quite old hotel. It really roughly matches the quality of quality inn vs double tree. The water flow for shower is really tiny.
