Hotel Indigo Tallahassee - Collegetown by IHG

We stayed here while dropping off our daughter at FSU. It is in Collegetown right near the stadium. The hotel is very clean, new, spacious, and comfortable. I’m a bit of a germaphobe so I inspect everything like the shower, floors, bed etc., and I was fully happy here. The staff is wonderful and the restaurant is good! The coffee in the morning at the bar is DELICIOUS. I loved their iced shaken espresso- one of the bests I’ve had. The only complaint I have is there is no valet. For this hotel, you would think they would have a valet or a bell hop? But unfortunately, they didn’t have either. I just did not like having to drop off our bags, then my husband had to park the car in the garage and walk across to get back to hotel. Regardless of the inconvenience of the parking, we will be staying here everytime we visit our daughter at FSU in Tallahassee. We really enjoyed our stay at Indigo.

Breakfast was ABYSMAL. We waited over an hour for food. The restaurant was NOT busy. The staff said they had a table that sent multiple dishes back but that should have NOT been a factor in our service. It was terrible.

Great location. Would be nice to have a microwave in the room. Shower constantly dripped

Nice lobby. Arrived in the room , floor was dirty and there was a pill and dead cockroach on the floor. Had to call and have someone clean the floor. When I used the shower it was also dirty and there was black mold on the caulking. AC is extremely loud.

AC unit a little loud in the room. Very few places to hang towels and personal items in wash room. Issue with sound - car outside with car alarms constantly going off, no fault of hotel but location is a bit loud.

Clean, spacious room and bathroom. Pull out couch bed a plus. Property should have explained the parking prior to visit, procedure and cost of parking. Requested sheet for the couch bed and it was just left there. I expected it to be spread. Comfortable bed and pillows. Fridge and microwave.

I was not aware that breakfast was included. We did not have breakfast. We had to call maintenance to fix the shower door. It was taken care of promptly.
