Hampton Inn & Suites Tallahassee Capitol - University

Great location, clean and great breakfast, room was spacious and comfy! This is my second time and didn’t disappoint.

The bed in the room wasn't that comfortable, though. I've stayed at Hampton Inns in the past and all of their beds were comfortable. I'm not sure why these beds were extra firm. Also, parking at this Hampton Inn will cost you $25/ night, which adds up quickly. Has I read the fine print about parking, I would've definitely found somewhere else to stay.

Clean and comfortable. Breakfast does the job. Food stations are clean and stocked. Ample space to sit and large Tv on with the local news or sporting info.

It was very clean and I felt safe. Parking is $25 per night, which I did not read about prior to staying. So, just be aware of that.

On a positive note, the beds were extremely comfortable, which ultimately is what matters most for a good night’s sleep. The complimentary breakfast was also a nice bonus and very convenient. Overall, despite the cleanliness concerns in the common areas, the stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

Location was great for FSU orientation.

I recently stayed at Hampton Inn & Suites Tallahassee Capitol - University and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was clean, modern, and well-maintained, making it a comfortable place to relax after a day of exploring Tallahassee. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with any questions or requests.

Convenient to FSU and FAMU. Clean, safe and secure, and quiet. Pool was meh.

We stayed here for two nights. When we arrived my husband used the restroom on the lobby level- trash was overflowing , he went to use it again today and the trash was still in the same state- he took a photo that first day for reviews and again today and it’s the same trash pile which likely means that space has not been cleaned recently.. printer was broken in business area , and toiletries available if you forgot something were non existent . My husband forgot shaving cream and was given some old powder that didn’t do anything when you added water to it. It seems the staff is willing to help which is great but amenities and cleanliness could be better for sure.

I stood in the lobby for over an hour after midnight while Expedia and the property argued over my reservation. In the end, I had to demand a refund and go to another hotel. IT WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! The customer service apologized, but never actually helped.

Terrible pillows

Overall, our stay was fine and the convenience of the location outweighed the negative aspects. The water in the shower never got truly hot. It just stayed warm. Also, the AC in the room did not seem to work at full power. Breakfast was fine, but the roasted potatoes became quite mushy under the metal cover. Again, these are minor things and the staff were very helpful, but we were not overly impressed with the room.

They're computer wasn't working, and it took to long.
