Marriott Chicago Schaumburg

Nice location with easy access to the mall and streets of woodfield in addition to the interstate. Indoor and outdoor pools were very nice! Staff very friendly with quick check in process.

A special thank you to the hotel manager, Kate, as well as the director of operations, as well as Ron for coming up with options to my liking to remedy a big issue during check-in. There was a major problem with my pre-paid reservation thru Expedia and what was actually booked on the property. The staff, handled it exceptionally well.

Very nice place. The staff was very helpful and nice. Our room was nice and clean with a beautiful view on the 14th floor. Only problem was no microwave in the room...omg. overall I would definitely stay again..

Room was clean, quiet and easy to get in and out of. Wish we would have had a microwave to make our own popcorn and heat up some snacks, but that wasn’t a huge deal. We will stay here again.

Great hotel..very clean very friendly staff

We didn't avail ourselves to any of the amenities, but the hotel property was well groomed the lobby was clean and orderly. Check in was a breeze. I don't think I spent more than 5 minutes checking in. The room was very nice, the bed firm (made for a great night's sleep). All in all, it was an excellent stay!

Although the hotel itself was clean and high end, I can’t say the same about costumer service. My 7yo cut her foot in the outdoor pool and when I ran to the front desk, although I told the receptionist “my kid cut her foot in your pool, do you have a 1st aid kit” she went in her drawer and opened up 2 packs of bandaids to see what size I wanted. Bandaids, not even a 1st aid kit with wound cleaning supplies, creams etc. No concern or sympathy to my kid’s injury. Nothing! Just here’s bandaids. I have never encountered such careless employee. I wish I would have gotten her name but I was too concerned with my child who was bleeding by the pool so I just ran back to her. I do not recommend this hotel to families.

App and upon arrival none were available. We accepted two queens. The room is fine just not our preference of sleeping arrangements.

I started out at the Red Roof Inn in Willowbrook and let me say I just noped out in less than 2 hours. So I didn't have high hopes for any new place I went to. Let me tell you, this was it!!!! This place is spotless. They have beautiful rooms. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. I did not take advantage of room service or the dining. But next time I will. Marriott exceeded my expectations. The only downside is the highway is nearby so you will hear traffic. My suggestion is ear plugs or do what I did. I just got my little handheld fan, turned it on and slept like a baby. Not once did the highway noise wake me up. But I could not hear the other time. Could not hear the hallway. And I really appreciated that shower head after a long day of walking around downtown Chicago.

Beautiful place. Comfortable. But I do wish they had a time for kids to not be in the pool area without their parents. While my fiance and i were in the hot tub three young kids came over to jump in and swim. They were also splashing and no parent was there for us to ask them to stop. Other than this inconvenience because we really came for the hot tub experience…. It’s a very nice place.

This is always are go to for staying to schaumburg. Always clean, friendly and close to everything.
