Very nice hotel in old, repurposed building adjacent to river. River view enabled us to see an enourmous container ship sail by our window. Two or three minute walk to free water taxi to Convention Center. Very helpful staff,

I loved the architecture of the building and the room was very comfortable.

The staff and accommodations were great stay. The place has a ton of atmosphere, we’ll definitely stay there again if/when we return to Savannah.

The walls, the floors, the furniture, and the location were perfect for a history lover like myself. The food was very good in the second floor restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again.

The location was another major highlight. It was easy to walk to Old Town Savannah, the riverfront, historic squares, restaurants, shops, and many of the city’s most popular attractions. We were able to leave the car parked and explore much of the city on foot. Unfortunately, our stay was significantly impacted by noise from another guest room. Late in the evening, a group of partiers arrived in the room above us. For several hours there was constant noise from items being dropped or moved across the floor, making it difficult to sleep. The disturbance continued until around 3:00 a.m., when one of the guests began vomiting loudly. While we understand that hotels cannot completely control guest behavior, the lack of a peaceful night’s sleep put a damper on an otherwise enjoyable stay. Overall, this is a beautiful historic hotel with comfortable rooms and an excellent location for exploring Savannah. If you’re looking for charm and convenience, it delivers.

The property I beautiful and the room views amazing. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect and the rooms are comfortable and clean. My only complaint was having to check out. Will be back!

Nice hotel with historical atmosphere. Common places were well appointed and comfortable. The room was good however it was very dirty overall. It looked like surface cleaning of bathroom and room.

This was supposed to be a mini-vacation and graduation celebration for me. I was so excited to return to Savannah after years of moving to NYC. River Street Inn was the perfect location since I would be graduating across the waterway at the Savannah Convention Center. I booked a room with a balcony so that we could enjoy the River Street scenery. However, my son and I were exhausted from travel and the humidity, so after our 4pm check-in we slept until 8pm. Upon waking up, I opened the balcony door and it was filled with mounds of bird poop and a floor board was loose. The carpet had brown stains and discolorations. There were broken and loose bricks in the wall and floor. Their a/c leaked everyday. The shower floor had rusted and chipped areas that could cut your feet. We had to place towels over it to protect ourselves. Our room was 413 directly across from the ice machine which was located in the hallway which was torture. The cleaning staff were unprofessional. When I requested a new room, they stated that they were none available. Honestly, I feel like I need a vacation from the vacation. The property was clean, but I paid for the room and the room was not.

Great location and staff! Will be back!

Great place to stay
-
Parking is difficult and paying for it is worse. Other than that, nice accommodations

The historic aspect of the hotel was interesting. The rooms had historic charm but on the small side. Our family of four was a tight fit. The building is old so the rooms are old and have an old smell to them so know that going in. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is very good and the view was great.

The staff made our stay 10x better !!! Especially our valet person …
