Hotel was confusing

The hotel also charges a daily destination fee of $38.00. In addition, our shower did not work, and since the hotel was full, we had to use my daughter’s room to shower. When we reported the issue, everyone was busy and unable to assist.
-
On top of that, I was charged several hidden fees and ended up paying about $200 more than I expected. Overall, it was a horrible experience, and I would not recommend staying here.

The property was excellent and service was exceptional. I would book it again on my next trip to San Francisco. I highly recommend it to any persons that want to spend a weekend at San Francisco.

Everything was good in the hotel

The water bottle filling stations near the bathrooms on the lobby floor are a fantastic feature that I really valued. But I only discovered them right before checkout. Nothing against the bottled water options for sale on site, but if there are bottle filling stations it would be great to know because I add electrolytes to my water anyway and use my own water bottle to cut down on waste. So I really value having the option to refill my water and cut down on waste. Other than that small detail the property was absolutely fabulous!

Location was great. We loved the bar on the 39th floor. Beds were great.

The room name said it's a suite. So I was expecting there to be two rooms, i.e. there's a door in between the bedroom part and the living part of that room, but there wasn't a door. It was very open. It would have been better if there was a separate room with a wall and door.

Prices at BB were unreasonable for a beer. Other than that, everything else was great.

Clean room, friendly staff, good breakfast selection.

Amazing place to stay. We got in at 10 AM from our early morning flight and checked in to simply drop off our luggage only to be surprised with an our room ready. We were so happy, for we got to nap for 30 minutes before exploring the city. Customer service here is top-notch.

For a large hotel, in the heart of a touristy area, it was very quiet. The elevators were efficient even when my convention let out 1000 people at once. Having water stations and a small market with a microwave was really helpful when we didn't have time for a full meal. And being across the street from a grocery was super helpful also. Additionally, when I requested foam pillows because of an allergy to feathers, they initially said they were out of them, but 30 minutes later I received 2. This saved my night (and money as I would have had to go purchase a pillow for the rest of my stay). One of the two beds was a little worn in; dipped in the middle. However, I really have no other complaints. I have been travelling a lot recently and this was a very comfortable stay.

I strongly advise against considering this hotel for your stay. The staff is terrible and deceitful. We made and paid for a reservation for a room with two beds, but when we arrived after a long journey with two children, our room was not available. The receptionist, Max, insisted that we cancel the reservation ourselves. After a brief conversation, he told us he would take care of it and assured us that we would get a full refund. However, he misled us, as he canceled the reservation citing that we didn’t show up, and now we only received 50% of the room cost back from http://Booking.com. Horrible! Horrible!
