The room was clean and comfortable, staff friendly, breakfast very good, very convenient location.

The gas fire Thumping noises from other patrons

The hotel has an old home vibe. Loved everything about it! We had a motorcycle so parking was close and easy. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. A great experience. Got late check out for free as an added bonus A few blocks away is a large amount of homeless so a little uncomfortable walking around in the evenings.

Lovely all around!

We are absolutely pleased with our stay at Petite Auberge in SF. Other than some steep stairs to get to our second floor room - the place was perfect for us. So close to the Masonic and Top of the Mark - our reason for our visit. My wife says - she'd go back in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed the stay. Good location, quiet and cozy room, functional wifi, decent morning breakfast. We wished that no a/c was better advertised on Expedia where we booked. I do think we would consider returning to Petite Auberge should we find ourselves in SF again. I'm pending a charge that I expect to "fall off" now that we've checked out and will reach out if it doesn't.

Exceptional

The room, the decor, and the products used. Also liked that breakfast is provided, and there is happy hour. It is somewhat noisy, so the noise of people walking etc would wake me up.
-
Charming Wes Andersen-esque boutique hotel. Staff were prompt and accommodating. They have a library with a fireplace and the larger rooms have private gas fireplaces. Quaint and comfortable.
-
It’s a good location and Property overall - choose with the awareness that it’s not one of the modern hotels. Early check out by 1 day, was not refunded upon request. The receptionist cited hotels.com booking for that. You can park at nearby parking garages for half of the price and We suggest buying daily parking pass as they also don’t refund if you cut your trip short.

Very old and dated place. Extremely small room. Clean but felt dusty because it felt old and dated. Have paid in same price range in SF and had much better lodging.
-
We stayed in room 10 and had our own private courtyard. The wine & appetizers were an added plus. The location is central so it’s THE PLACE To STAY! Wonderful!!
-
Convenient; outstanding breakfast
-
Petite Auberge is within walking distance of all the downtown attractions, it’s an excellent value with a good breakfast included. Our upgraded room was quite large and included a fireplace. we’ve stayed there before and will stay there again in the future. Nothing

The breakfast and the wine and cheese were great. Loved the fireplace in my room. Very charming hotel. A fridge in the room would have been a bonus.
-
Room was very clean. Loved the “wine and nibbles”. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was good. I wish there was a small refrigerator and microwave in the room for leftovers.
-
Really cool vibe. Wonderfully quiet hotel. Would have loved a fridge in the room, but no big deal.
-
Always a lovely visit. At times difficult to get a reservation - reserve early if possible Parking charge in San Francisco always surprise me.
-
The room was great. Really cute and homely. The hotel was in a lovely area close to things to see and they also had free tea and coffee and an alcoholic happy hour each day which was free and very unexpected. If I visited San Francisco’s I would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was also simple, but great.

Nice, quirky little hotel. Clean, good breakfast, good location.
