The Hotel Fusion is a nice alternative to some of the more upscale and formal hotels in the area. It’s still a very nice hotel downtown with all the amenities you’d expect but the overall atmosphere and staff provide a more authentic San Francisco experience than what you’d experience in a chain hotel. I picked the Fusion primarily because of its proximity to Powell Station and had no expectations but came away impressed.

The room was nice and clean.

Location Muggy room. Loud. Retro tv and no smart tv for apps. Bathroom was 10 degrees hotter and ac unit was old and had a moldy smell

i found the hotel to be clean. Beyond that, nothing special. The room was very outdated and odd- twin bed in the entry room. I think a couch that converted to an extra bed would be a lot better option. Window air conditioner. Good location.

My husband, 6 year old son, and I stayed here for 4 days after our son’s adenotonsillectomy. I can’t express how helpful the staff were at every step. From letting us store popsicles in their freezer, and periodically getting them for us, to recommendations, and overall catering to the multiple requests that we had for plates, cups, bowls, etc that we needed throughout our stay to keep our kiddo eating and drinking. Super accommodating and kind staff. The hotel itself was great for the value and we couldn’t have asked for much more than that.

Location is walking distance to downtown, interior was pleasant, staff was friendly and efficient

Great location, hustle and bustle if thats what your looking for. Great shopping all around.

Friendly staff, nice, clean room with air conditioning, mini fridge and a complementary coffee machine. The hotel felt a bit empty, there was a nice bar area with a pool table, but there were no guests around there at anytime, so it wasn't inviting

The staff was great. The room was just ok. Carpet was stained and several places in the room sounded like you were going to fall through. The bathroom wasn’t very clean (found pubic hair and hair on floor and in shower).

The hotel is easy to spot and the lobby is nice and feels higher-end. I had a 2 twin room and it was TINY. Two adults would likely find it difficult to stay for any length of time as there's no freedom of movement due to the tight space. The bathroom was surprisingly large in comparison to the room with a good-sized shower. The air conditioner was pretty effective but very loud - earplugs are a must. For my room, my largest concern was that the window faced out to what seemed to be a limited access roof "alley" and it did not seem that there would be a way to escape if there were an emergency and exit through the door was not possible. I'm not certain whether I would stay again, but I wouldn't make a blanket recommendation against doing so, either.

It was a decent room, with a large bathroom, and had everything I needed; bed, desk, controllable climate, and 24/7 access. So for a functional, comfortable room to get a good night's sleep - it supplied just fine. Window overlooked the central alley/AC units and pigeon nests. Carpet, in and out of room, clearly needs replacing.

the location was amazing , the price was very affordable , the room a little bit small especially the bad it's small for 2 persons
