Pretty aging and run down property.

Good location, nice staff

Room was not very clean and the radiator makes tons of noise in the middle of the night, despite it not being on. Otherwise, bed was comfy, staff was nice. If you’re looking for budget friendly and if you just need a place to sleep, shower and leave belongings, this is fine

The hotel’s location makes it easy to access different points of interest throughout the city, but the neighborhood is kinda sketchy once you get a couple blocks away (at night esp, but we didn’t have any problems at all) It was a clean cheap hotel centrally located with friendly staff, checked all the boxes for us besides AC. Parking lot is safe $30/night with an attendant there watching over during the day so I felt extra safe leaving my car all three days.

Just location may be. There was no AC in this property instead there is heater which made the room very hot and unable to sleep. I don't know how cold it would be in SF but I guess there should be both options rather than just heater.

This hotel is extremely clean, especially for being an old building. Some of the carpet and furniture is very old.

the place was disgusting, my room looked very similar to a motel 6, stains covering the carpet, the carpet itself had tears and wasn't properly attached to the floor. the walls were incredibly dirty with splatter marks, it smelled awful in the room. I didn't find anything redeeming about this place.

The hotel is located in a convenient place because you can walk to wherever you need a few items or plenty of them.

Disappointing

Nice charm,securkty parking next door. Close or close enough to events or places we wanted to visit but would have appreciated included parking fees in stay. TV had good channels to help kids be occupied when in. The store at the next corner was wonderful. No breakfast included, no windows screens, hole behind bathroom mirror, low sink water, small and older elevator, creepy stairs, thin walls, clanking sounds outside off and on in the morning. No ac so had to keep windows cracked for ventilation and would at times invite more noise, parking not included with hotel price, no pets allowed. Curtain had tears and a stain that were questionable...

No thermostat so if you want it colder you leave the windows open, which if you’re not used to the city is just really loud. Rooms were clean and reasonably sized but parking is not included so plan to add at least $30 to your bill.

The staff were friendly and the parking was convenient.

The staff was very friendly. The hotel is obviously a pretty old building which adds a lot of charm for me personally. Our bathroom did have a chipped tile and some repair spots on the wall and tile but overall a great room for the price. Noise is kinda obvious as it is right on the street but it wasn’t super loud at night even with the window open for cool air. The bed is slightly on the firmer side than what I like but a decent comfort level to where I wasn’t turning all night. There’s a large walk in closet and a dresser for clothes if you’re staying awhile. Could be a pro or con depending on how others view it but the parking is $30 a night in a gated area. So your car is a little safer than parking in the street.

Room had everything I need, area may be unsafe (heard someone breaking things outside on my second night), but that's outside of the hotel's control. For the price, everything was decent.
