Clean room. Friendly staff. First time staying in a Hostel. Will be coming back.

Inside: Didn’t notice rooms downstairs, just the bathroom with tiny stalls. Most (all?) bedrooms were upstairs - definitely not accessible. Bedrooms were stuffy, even with window opened - no AC! Largest space is the kitchen - provided pancakes and eggs - you must cook and clean after yourself. Upside - you can go to grocery and cook your food? Would NOT recommend unless you can’t afford other places or rent the single bedroom, or go with enough people to rent out the entire room.

Good choice for the solo traveler on a budget. Has what you need and dependable quality.

The coolest spot ever

The chocolat chip pancakes peanut butter in the morning were a real treat. Old fashioned almost wild west decor. Nice hangout lounge. Good wifi. Bathroom facilities minimal. One night staff member seemed to have personal problems, made me uncomfortable. Daytime staff friendly and helpful. Excellent location.

The room was fine. Bathroom ok. Loud Loud Drinking game going on for hours starting at 5pm with lots of Loud Profanity. Impossible to sleep. Bathroom door needs oil! Squeaked all night with people going in and out. Check in/checkout people couldn't advise on parking info.

Good location and staff was friendly enough. But buildings and furnishings are in need of serious repair, renovation and cleaning. Shower by our room was out of service. Curtain in the shower downstairs was riddled with mold and mildew. Outside furniture too dirty to sit on. Filter on room air conditioner was covered with what had to be years of dust and dirt. Key cards consistently malfunctioned for most of our stay. Did not provide all amenities advertised. Supposedly smoking not allowed inside, but that apparently does not apply to weed.

The location is great. The hostel is near public transportation and countless nightlife and food options. The staff is very accommodating and go the extra mile to help.

It seems that property needs a little remodeling, overall. it was not in a convenient location for me, it was not to my liking. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Cost effective.

Basic amenities for a hostel. I like the patio space. I’m only spending one night so I won’t get the full experience.

Great hospitality and service. I would recommend anyone coming to visit San Diego and wants a great deal. I was lost at first finding it, but the owner really was understanding and compensated me tremendously. I can’t wait to visit again when I have time
