EVEN Hotel Omaha Downtown - Old Market by IHG

Homeless people all over that harassed you as soon as you walked outside. Room temps only got down to 72 and felt about 75 and hallways felt 80. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, personally. There was nothing close around. It was a quick overnight for us and it worked, but I wouldn’t stay again.

The room was in need of a thorough clean and makeover and had an overbearing smell of chemicals such as ammonia. There were chewed cherry pits on the floor, black scuffs on the drywall, goo on the bathroom glass door. The stained mattress was broken down and the linens looked as if they had been wadded up in a pile before put on the bed. Furniture and carpet was frayed and worn. This place was rough! Not a hook to hang a coat or backpack, no luggage rack for a suitcase. The common hallways were banged up and in the middle of drywall patching and one of the elevators wouldn’t go to the lobby. Cancelled the rest of the stay.

The building looked nice and the rooms looked nice as well. The road to the hotel was full of construction.which made it difficult to get to the hotel. Our room was great however pur fridge did not work and our bathroom door did not want to close either. Our floor ice machine was broken so we could not get ice. We did not have enough towels for the amount of people in the room. The food was not terrivle however it took a while to get our food as there was only one person in the kitchen making everybodies food. I do have to say the mwnu we get with the breakfast included voucher is a little bit disappointing. There were not a lot of options to choose from.
