Room was kinda icky. Spiders in the shower. Peeling wallpaper. THIN walls. I was woken up all night by neighbors coming and going. Staff was amazing

However, we were delayed checking into our room because of a hotel system issue, and therefore had to wait around in the lobby / common area for several hours without any time frame given for when we would be able to check in. Once in the room, it was disappointing. While the view was good, here are some of the issues: the room smelled like old fish, the curtains were a bit broken, the bed slanted like it was slightly broken, the furniture was very worn and not well-kept, the sink in the bathroom moved when you touched it and felt like it was barely staying on the wall, the water pressure in the shower was very low, and there was no fridge in the room. Also the building itself was character-less and felt like an office building that had recently been converted and was not quite ready to open. It is not a hotel that I would return to on my next trip to NYC.

A bit of an old hotel, old carpets and bathrooms. No fridge in room. Good pricing and staff were very nice but you get what you pay for.

I enjoyed the proximity to the places I needed to get to this particular trip. Lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The room was clean. The staff was nice.

The staff was great, the room was great, the parking situation was less than ideal at the time as there was construction going on at the parking lot nearest to the hotel. But it wasn't terrible, a short walk away and the parking attendants were great. The hotel was nicely located to all the things we were there to do.

All around just ok. Prices this week were very high so I couldn’t book the hotel I wanted but this was close to where I was working and within budget. I read the reviews and knew what to expect. And I got it. The rez system was being updated when I arrived at 5:00pm and I waited for 45 minutes with other annoyed guests. The room smelled of mildew and the ac unit was loud. The coffee maker in the room worked but made a sad cup of brown water. Expected but still disappointing. On the plus side, the room was larger than most Manhattan hotel rooms. Happy it was only two nights

Terrible experience. The room was disgsuting and had staples holding the walls together in the bathroom, tons of dust in corners and broken furniture. I was charged $40 a day for amenities. Those amenities include a “gym” (a treadmill, a bike, and a dumbbell rack that is missing 40% of the dumbbells and the dumbbells that ARE there have broken handles and grips). They have a rooftop that is FINE. So essentially we paid $120 for water bottles which seems outrageous. Staff would not accommodate for these issues. AC was good though. This place has gone down hill when the Canadian firm purchased it.

This hotel was fine, excellent location. But it definitely needs a refresh. Looks like it really hasn’t been updated in 10 or 15 years. They could use new carpets for example and other touchups that would make it look a lot nicer. Some of the fixtures and furniture are a little dated too.

top central location, clean property and rooms, very good service in few aspects a little to vintage but still oaky - maybe for this price it should be more up to date

Very friendly staff, thoughtful details. Easy check in, good storage. Could have been a bit more comfortable (specifically the pillows and towels) but everything overall for the price was great.

Super worn down, not as pictured. Room was really run down, carpet was oddly wet. Bathroom was covered in water and shower was moldy.

Place was a great location in SOHO but wish the AC was Colder and Cooled Faster. We turned the A/C on Full Blast Cold And It took around 5-6 hours for the room to get comfortable. Luckily we were sitting by the ac so that helped but was a bit surprised it took so long.

Do not stay here! Everything about how they market this hotel is a lie. Many of the pictures online are stock photos, and there is zero “elegance” about it. Quite the opposite! The interior is badly run down and surfaces are corroded. It markets a lounge that is nonexistent. My bathroom had severe mold in several places, holes in the walls and ceiling and peeling wallpaper. The water in the shower had a brown tint. It is also located on the street to the tunnel so it is loud at all hours and deadlock traffic in front of the hotel so you have to walk a few blocks for a cab.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were helpful. But, there was no ice bucket or refrigerator or cups. The air conditioner was very loud. The clothing storage area and the carpet showed signs of age. Unfortunately the bar was being used for storage and there was no area to purchase snacks. The lobby was very small. I did like that there was free water available. And the hotel was in walking distance of many places that I visited in SoHo. Also, the beds were very comfortable.
