Skyways Hotel

The location is rather near the airport, nothing else. 24/7 reception. Quick check out service. There's ATM at the reception. Simple hair dryer was provided. There's a TV with many channels. Small refrigerator is provided. The security around the area is rather worrying. The gate was just a gate with anyone coming through. The smell of humidity in the room was rather strong. The bed was .. just a bed. The window also show great safety concern somehow.

Close to LAX airport and a 7/11 around a 20 min walk away from some late night snack! Good little hotel for airport stopovers. Staff where really helpful, and the room also had a mini fridge and kettle

It was relatively clean. The person who checked me in was very helpful. The AC, TV and mini refrigerator worked. It included a microwave that I didn’t use. I checked in around 7:30p and left at 5a. It was very expensive for a 9.5 hour stay. The room was noisy. There was very little if any noise dampening for my room. You can hear every plane on their approach to landing since Skyways is in the because it’s in the flight path of planes landing, and you can hear the cars and trucks as they drive by. I couldn’t figure out how to turn on the water in the shower. I pulled out the knob turned it clockwise and counter clockwise , no water.

About 5-10 min drive from LAX airport (will cost about USD$15-25 by taxi). The guy at the front desk was very helpful. Room had what you needed for quick stay. A little run down, but for the location and purpose (being close to the airport) it was great.

The staff was not pleasing and it felt like we are a burden to stay at the property. The basics like bottle of water was also not provided in the room. The attitude of the staff, missing basic amenities, no one to greet you or at the front office desk on arrival or departure. The lady who came to the front desk was absolutely expressionless and not at all helpful.

It was really close to the airport, i was able to get there with just two bus for 2,50$. There was a greek restaurant next to the hotel with reasonable prices and really tasty food. The check-in and out was easy, the room was clean and well equipped. Nothing, everything was great! The bathroom was a little small for me but I still could do anyithing I needed. Not a lot of tv channels, but the basics were there.
