Motel 6 Indianapolis Carmel

It was an okay place to stay. Pricing was reasonable. They do have a $60 security deposit to keep in mind at check in.

This hotel was worth what we paid. We were just looking for a place to sleep for the night and got there in the early morning hours. We checked in through a kiosk that a man was on the other end of. I thought he may be in a different country but the next morning he was sitting at the desk. Overall it wasn’t a bad place. The room looked to be newly remodeled maybe.

Clean and neat. Made sure I was on 1st floor because I don't walk well. No fridge in the room, but for the price I shouldn't have expected one.

Room was nice. There were some water spots on mirror still and some dirt on floor but my profession is a cleaner so I notice things better than others. Husband said coffee tasted bad. I didn't like that you checked in on a kiosk but they were remodeling the front desk area. We only stayed one night since we only came to town for a concert. Overall it was ok.

Price. Just needed a place to crash after a late night baseball game. Clean, hot water, comfy beds, and very well lit parking. Too many people just coming and going. Several groups of people just hanging around outside at midnight. Entrance doors all proved open.

The day we checked in we had requested not to receive room cleanings for the few days we were there. Every day we came back at the end of the day and found our room had been serviced regardless. Not a huge deal but it's still something that, when requested, should be upheld. As for amenities ... at this location there really aren't any. The room has no fridge, no microwave, and only a bar of soap in the bathroom. I have no real complaints about this but the survey does ask how useful the amenities are.

Our experience was absolutely terrible at this hotel. We were heading to our concert when we got a call from the hotel stating that our dog was barking. We go all the way back to find that our dog was passed out on the bed. The hotel didnt even check to see if it was our dog barking, it ended up being the dog right next to us constantly barking. The hotel called us not once but 10 times as we were heading back. The staff was rude and not helpful at all. Not only were we out money for the concert but we ended up leaving.

Very basic. Checked in by person through a machine. No people. No refrigerator, no microwave, no breakfast. They say there is a coffee station but it wasn't operational either day. It's just a room.
