the Curtis Denver - a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel

The room was small but ok except for the bed, which was a close to a double bed rather than a queen size bed as stated in the listing. That said, the hotel staff gave us free water and cookies. The location of the hotel is excellent.

Location

Elevators are slow and small - caused a line backed up every time out the door to catch one. We took the stairs several times. Waited 5 minutes once to get down.

Great location for a quick trip! Close to a lot of downtown attractions and the staff was so sweet and helpful.

Everyone was friendly. The themes were amazing. So much to do in walking distance. It made for out time in Denver pleasant.

Need some milk next time with those cookies, and for those that don’t get this review, we were surprised, but once we got there, they literally have unlimited all you can eat cookies at the front desk. All you have to do is ask I was a bit shy so I didn’t get that much but the ones I did get oof I just needed a glass of milk to go with it such a great cookie and it’s a little something extra that we weren’t expecting that made the weekend better

Very friendly staff and location was exceptional. The smell was odd.

Check in staff was amazing. Very friendly and informative. Room was actually not that great. On the 4th floor and looked out to a/c units. In the morning both days, there were men working right outside our window. The room also wasn’t super clean. We found used contact lenses on the floor next to full length mirror. There were carpet beetles on the upholstered headboard of the bed. The outlets in the bathroom were dirty. Other than that, the location was great and we enjoyed the adjacent restaurant.

Adorable hotel with the most funky and upbeat vibe. Staff was wonderful, location was great. Very safe, room was updated and clean. The only issue we had was a single small bug we found in the room- we think this was a standalone incident as we never saw any others. Elevator under construction but still working- should be greatly improved soon!

A keen-eyed scout will notice that the camp is showing the scuffs of a well-traveled path; the spirited interiors feel a bit weathered and are due for a seasonal refresh. Furthermore, those hoping to wash away the trail dust will find the property lacks a classic watering hole—there is no pool, sauna, locker room, or spa facilities to be found. Yet, like a trusted pack mule, what it lacks in luxury it doubles down on in character. For its unparalleled location, phenomenal crew, and unapologetic joy, The Curtis earns a solid four out of five stars. It remains a wonderfully vibrant sanctuary.

The location was greatconvenient and my room was ready well before the posted check-in time, which I appreciated. However, the property felt much more worn than the photos suggested. My room had visible water stains and cleanliness issues, and the check-in process was frustrating because the app directed me to the front desk while the front desk repeatedly directed me back to the app. Overall, the stay was fine, but the hotel did not feel as well-maintained as advertised.

Easy to get in and out of the garage, everything was clean and well kept.

Love the ambiance, room decor, cookies upon check in and friendliness of the front desk. The only down side was the elevator from the parking to the lobby was so slow as only one is working and the poor cleaning staff was using it.

I booked a King Corner room and upon checking they assigned me a middle room 2 queen beds. The guy checking me in didn’t tell me and let me find out by opening the door. After I called the front desk, she blamed it on booking with a 3rd party, even though I confirmed 24hrs prior to check in. Why would they knowingly give my room away?!!! Will never go back.

This was one of the genuinely nicest hotel staffs I’ve ever encountered
