The staff was friendly and kind. The elevator was being worked on so they only had one available and it was a little slow. The breakfast options were overpriced and not worth it. There was an all day cappuccino machine available in the lobby which was fantastic. The room was much better than the photos online. We had a two queen bed bedroom and there was a bench in the window that my daughter spent the whole time when we were in the hotel. I would stay here next time we are in town.

Really lovely hotel with beautiful rooms and located very close to many of the major Chicago attractions. We immediately felt welcomed by Megan who was so bright and friendly as soon as we stepped through the door. She was able to help us with an early check in which we very much appreciated after an early morning flight. I definitely recommend staying here!

The hotel is DEFINITELY not modernized as advertised. The carpets looked old. The elevator (only one was working and people DID get stuck) was old looking. I will say that the location is EXCELLENT! Convenient to everything. Best feature was the window “perch”. Great for people watching or just lounging. Not a “luxury“ hotel as advertised but nice. Restaurant/bar was very nice.

Great location

A very nice property with an excellent location. The Korean restaurant on the ground floor was a pleasant surprise and served very tasty food. The only downside was that one of the two lifts was out of service for the entire four nights of my stay, which led to longer wait times and was somewhat frustrating.

Also while being there we charged $800 by mistake for the hotel… was told I was getting that refunded and still haven’t received my refund!!!

We visited Chicago, 2 kids. 2 adults. Great hotel. Great location and the coffee in the lobby is a huge plus and it’s free! Friendly staff. We even extended our trip one night!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Only one working elevator, so we had to use the stairs to and from our floor a few times. Window seat was cool, watched interesting people across the street at 7 Eleven. Property was ok. Location good. Would not stay again.

Nice place and location.

This was an excellent hotel except that there was only 1 working elevator, and it was unclear when it would be fixed. If you’re on a low enough floor you can take the stairs, but I’d stay in a different hotel if they tell you both elevators are not working.

Great location but the 7/11 across the street and the sports illustrated hotel next door seem to attract some shady people. One elevator was out so at times took several minutes to arrive but over all for the price and location was worth it,
