Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Magnificent Mile

The hotel needs to be updated. The carpet needs to be replaced and the rooms are very much dull and outdated. The bathtub/ shower was leaking in our room and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The mattresses are so hard and we didn’t sleep well at all. The terrible part is the amount we spent for this room was totally not worth it! I would never recommend staying here. To be honest, I would have rather slept in the car!

Great location and nice property, the only downsize was the lighting at the bathroom, not enough light around the sink, hard to get to see things when shaving and all that.

We had delays getting to the hotel, one call and the manager had us checked in so we only needed to pick up our room keys. The staff was helpful and kind, giving suggestions on where to eat, sights to see and best family activities! Next trip to Chicago we will definitely be staying here!

Room cleaning is every other day: didn't see that before I booked. Long queues and waited for the elevators (elevators broken). Not worth it. Staff were polite and helpful.

Hotel was centrally located in the city of downtown Chicago, very nice

Minor issues. Coffee maker in the room didn't work. And the ice machine wasn't working!

Stay was great

Staff were excellent and the hotel is in an ideal location. The bar closing at 10pm isn’t good though. They’d make a lot more money serving drinks until later in the evening.

Staff was very helpful and courteous that’s what save the stay, property was really old very dusty, the bathroom was really outdated The flushing thing for the toilet was broken. That’s really petty in my opinion with all the money we pay for a stay not to have a handle to flush the toilet, dust everywhere and bed sheets very old and smelly in my opinion not worth the stay!

Friendliest staff! Needed the lobby a few times to wait to/from the airport and accessed Starbucks from the lobby too. Well maintained, furniture shows signs of wear but the room was very clean. The AC needed to be cooler!

Very convenient to get around. The bed was a little hard.

Josephine was amazing! She was so friendly and helpful when we checked in. She was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions.
