Hotel was good, staff were great. However, there were 5 elevators, but only 2 were operational and just barely. The cleaning staff also didnt have their own elevator so it was stopping at every floor, it literally took between 10-20 minutes any time you wanted to get to your room or the lobby. Really tainted the experience.

The overall experience was great. Parking was a little expensive. Opted for the valet service for the extra $10. Valet staff was excellent. Did not like that the bathroom door would not stay open.

The indoor pool was not accessible/outdoor pool was nice for my location. My only complaint is they will multiple issues with the elevator and we had to take the stairs. One elevator was working and no AC in the elevator.

The property was decent and the lobby and facility on the inside was clean. The elevators are EXTREMELY slow. There are long wait times during the day to go up and down. There is no free parking. Parking is about $30 per day and valet is $40. The parking gate would not open to get in or out of the garage. I had to call for help each time I entered and exited the garage.

I am very disappointed with my recent stay at Le Méridien. While there were several staff members, particularly at the front desk, who were attentive, kind, and did their best to assist, the overall experience was far below what should be expected for a stay costing over $1,000 for four nights.Upon arrival and throughout our stay, there were numerous maintenance and cleanliness issues. Our room showed visible water damage on the walls, and the shower leaked. At one point, the air conditioning in our room was not functioning properly, and there were also issues with the air conditioning in the hotel social areas. To make matters worse, our room smelled strongly of marijuana, which significantly impacted our comfort. Housekeeping services were inconsistent, and communication was often difficult due to language barriers. On one occasion, housekeeping left a vacuum cleaner plugged into the hallway, creating a safety hazard that nearly caused me to fall. The pool area was especially disappointing. My nephew received a splinter due to the poor condition and lack of upkeep around the pool deck. The cabana areas were dirty and appeared neglected. There were no visible showers or emergency phone available in the pool area, and security presence was minimal. During our time there, individuals were openly using marijuana near the pool, which made the environment uncomfortable and inappropriate for families.Valet parking also presented problems.

The staff tried hard to accommodate many dissatisfied guests. Profusely apologized about the horrid conditions. Air conditioning was not working well on 95 degree weekend. 3 elevators were out of service!!!! Took 10-12 minutes to get an elevator. Restaurant had very limited menu and odd hours. Beds were soft, mushy. Absolutely uncomfortable.

Property was in a good location and was clean beds was comfortable The fact that they had 2 elevators that was out of order with 18floors so you literally had to wait like 30 mins just for a elevator was unacceptable

Elevators and AC not working

the room & view was nice! & the bed was comfortable. it was hot in the hallway, it was warm in my room all night, even with me setting the temp to 66, the elevators take EXTREMELY long, mind you.. there was only two working elevators. sadly, it was nearly 15 minute waits unless you’re lucky enough to catch a ride up or down in time.

Absolutely everything about this hotel was AMAZING…the only hiccup was the elevators were not working properly and had to wait over 20 minutes just to get on elevator but overall I will forever stay here when I’m in Charlotte

Whole hotel was tired. Mouldy ceilings with peeling paint, leaky shower with missing grout, beds sunk to the ground, paper thin walls, pool tired and no towels outside. The lifts were a joke - stuck in one for 15 minutes as it just kept resetting. Reception understaffed. Room service did not make beds. Generally would definitely not recommend unfortunately.
