Solid Marriott property. Unique situation where pool was closed during son’s milestone bday. Room didn’t get cleaned one day and bathroom light wasn’t working. All around a great vibe for a family summer visit as the food was good and cafe and bars were great.

We love our stay here and we are definitely gonna go back in the future.

Location - Within walking distance to Trader Joe's, Starbucks and Amy's Ice Cream. Close to First Watch. Outstanding front desk staff. Can't remember her name, but she wore glasses and worked the 3pm to 11:00pm shift, slender and very personable. Irony - can't remember her name but she remembered mine every time I approached her. The view of the city from the room was great. Stayed in room 836. loved the room but there was the constant of water running or some sort of plumbing issue. I do mean "constant"! For the entire two day stay. Really an issue at night. Surely someone has mentioned this before.

CON: 1) There is a $25 daily fee referenced as “Destination” (separate from City and State Tax) on final bill and this really should be disclosed in Hotels.com website when booking hotel. 2) Paying for internet connection because your device 5G connection is practically dysfunctional. (The iPhone worked okay but not the iPad. ) We’ve always paid daily parking so no surprise there.

Very Friendly staff. Nice grounds, pools., glass elevator, lobby. Easy access to the highway, hiking trails and shopping mall. We enjoyed our stay We traveled with a 3 year old. and she would love to have a play ground on site..

The hotel was easy to get around and had a variety of meals and drinks throughout the day. The location was great being able to walk to shops and other restaurants. The staff very helpful
-
Stayed at the Renaissance for a business trip so didn't use many of the amenities but I love our stays there because its a beautiful hotel, really nice updated spotless rooms in a great location. The most surprising part of our fantastic experiences at Renaissance over the years has been the value - you will not find a finer hotel experience for the price anywhere in Austin period.

Great everything. Hot tub. Staff. Restaurant. Walking paths. Amy’s Ice Cream close by.

Location was great and quiet.
-
Very nice property The food in the restaurant was not very good
-
Room was very clean. I am not sure aside from the size that the suite was worth the $$$. The bed was very comfortable
-
Hot tub nice, and the whole back patio wonderful. Saw several people with pets.
-
Really enjoyed the Knotty Bar.

We stayed in the luxury suite and it was very luxurious to say the least. Good size room with a comfortable sectional couch, comfortable and clean king size bed, and they provide Kevin Murphy shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. Room was very clean. The hot tub and pool were also very clean and fun to lounge in.
-
Terrific staff, but both my colleague and I got sick after eating there (tacos in both cases). I would also have loved a different view than onto the indoors atrium, and a better coffee machine in the room (like a Nespresso).
-
Clean room and courteous staff
-
Loved this hotel and service.
-
Near restaurants and shops (by car) No breakfast included, no free parking, rude staff
