Hampton Inn & Suites Austin Downtown

Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast had a nice assortment with ample seating. Good location. We were in town for a convention at a nearby hotel. We saved $80/night, and got free WiFi and breakfast - such a good deal!

Austin is a freaky-deaky city and the residents definitely do a great job of “keeping Austin weird”. The hotel was clean and surprisingly the snacks in the room were complimentary. I’m talking about Snickers, Twix, and other goodies.

Perfect location, good room

Room and hotel were very clean, breakfast was delicious, and location could not be better for Austin. The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The only thing I can think of is that my room felt too hot at night. Not sure if it was about energy saving but even with my AC set to 66 if felt very hot and muggy.

Great hotel staff. Beware of the valet parking attendants, one messed up my phone number and lost my car briefly.

Excellent location with nice breakfast. The valet parking is very expensive at $70/night. There are several public parking garages nearby for around $30/night.

The room was clean and comfortable, good location I had reached out prior to our stay, stating that our flight was scheduled to land around midnight and asking if there was going to be an issue checking in past midnight, to which I was told no and that staff was there 24/7. Our flight was delayed a few hours so we checked in around 3am. Apparently, according to the staff after 2am we are considered a "no show" even though we paid in full prior to checking in... this cause a lot of issues with our stay, including the staff "creating" 2 new bookings, one at check in and one the next day. When the manager came to assist and said we ended up in the room he was "saving" - not sure why - he made it seem like it was our fault. They kept saying things like we had the last room, even though there were plenty of rooms left when I booked... also there was not much stocked in the little store.
