Garner Hotel August West by IHG

The elevator was broken, which made it inconvenient to get around the property. Inside the room, the thermostat did not work properly. When I tried to adjust the temperature from 70 to 71 degrees, either the air conditioning would turn on full blast or the heater would turn on full blast. There was no way to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. The room phone was also broken, and the Wi-Fi login information printed on the room card did not work. I had to contact the front desk to get a separate access code just to connect to the internet. The room itself had a strong odor, and the bathroom appeared to be in poor condition. There were areas that looked like rust, mildew, or possible mold, which made the bathroom feel unclean and poorly maintained. Everything at the hotel also felt overpriced compared to the quality of the stay. The only positive part of the visit was the breakfast, which was good. Overall, this hotel needs significant maintenance and better attention to guest comfort.

Attractive modern style. Room was spacious and comfortable. Located 1 mile from I-520 exit 1. Quiet with a large parking area excellent for dog exercise.

Great place for the price. I used the pool - really enjoyed the peaceful grounds.

I had a very pleasant 2 night stay. There were some stains around my door and a greasy spot on my floor, but basically clean and comfortable. Very comfortable bed! The pool was nice too! The cookies were good when they were available. Parking in the evening was a nightmare for someone recovering from knee surgery. I didn’t bring my handicap placard so ended up hobbling up the incline from the lower end of the parking lot.

1 bad thing.. the elevator is the SLOWEST ive ever encountered !! Fix the elevator

Staff was nice and helpful. The property was nice and clean.

Clean, convenient and comfortable.

There was paint on the comforter and we were given a sheet instead of someone changing the linen. The television did not work. I can see they are still renovating but just a little more effort needs to go into the building. Staff was ok, didn’t see many.

Very clean modern rooms with hard wood floors .. linens were aesthetically pleasing, very white not worn and very comfortable. Staff were attentive, helpful and pleasant. The facilities modern aesthetically pleasing only one exception the elevators .. the elevators was the only small issue I had with my stay.. but not a big enough issue to fret over. Would be my go to choice whenever visiting in the area or near by.

The hotel staff is one of the best I have ever seen. They treat, their customers with love. When you check out at the front desk, you are saying to yourself, when I return I will definitely be staying here again.

Quick trip but the stay was very comfortable and the breakfast was great!

Friendly staff clean room and property

Everything was nice and clean . Staff was very helpful

Room was clean. A/C was kinda wonky. I was Either freezing or burning up. Staff was very friendly and they had a decent breakfast. One thing I didn't like was the beds in our room were definitely not queen size.
