Nice comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The location is great, I like the neighborhood between the universities and it's easy to get around Tokyo from Takadanobaba station. Lots of good food at reasonable prices close to the hotel. The room was spacious for Tokyo standards and the hotel was comfortable and quiet. They offered free laundry machines for self service, which is super good, but the dryers were not efficient (yet cost only 100 Yen per 30 minutes). The refrigerator in the room could be switched off, so you don't get bothered by its hum. The room had a humidifier, which I think is brilliant. I sleep a lot better when the air is not too dry. If you have mobility challenges, you will be annoyed that you need to get in and out of the bathtub to shower. The breakfast was really good but I missed some more fresh fruit and berries and some oats, musli, or granola for the yoghurt. If you don't eat savoury food for breakfast, the selection is a bit narrow. I also think they should serve breakfast longer than until 9.30, to give vacation visitors a chance to finish without feeling rushed.

Near train station. 2 stops from Shinjuku. Breakfast was good if you like Japanese breakfast. Limited storage spaces. No safety box in the room.

I loved this hotel it was a perfect location and the staff was super friendly I got breakfast included with my stay and I really enjoyed it I plan on going back to Japan next year so I’ll definitely rebook this place !

Staff was friendly and helpful. Helped with the arrangement of our luggage to another hotel. Great breakfast. Will definitely return. Highly recommended! Only one pillow per bed. Would be nice to have an extra pillow. Otherwise, no complaints whatsoever!

Breakfast for me was different than what I am used to. Definately Japanese, not bad just different. Staff was helpful. The bed was very different. One pillow and different.

The location is great. perfect location near Takadznobaba station. A lot of restaurants . The hotel itself provide all services required for big city.

Very nice experience. The hotel is located just beside the Takadanobaba Station, very easy to reach. The lobby is very pleasant, I spent time working there. The room was spotless clean and very comfortable. The area is really nice, full of students of the nearby universities. The breakfast was the best of my trip in Japan, with a fantastic choice of local food, thank you! Nothing.

The location is just above the metro train station. The breakfast is so excellence. The staff is very kind. The room size is quite small.

Very clean, close to station, mall and food hubs

The location is great--just steps from the JR Takadanobaba station. It's easy to get anywhere in the city and the immediate neighborhood is fun. It's also close to the Kanda river, which has pedestrian paths on both sides that are perfect for jogging.

The property was perfectly located so that we could get on and off the train so easily with my mom who needed a little assistance. I loved how there was a 7-11 and lots of food options nearby. The pajamas were also so comfortable and we all loved them, especially our kids! The staff was incredibly helpful and kind to us.

The staff was very polite and accommodating, the onsen was really nice, with a beautiful view. The tatami is very comfortable. The hotel is old but very well maintained and very clean. We enjoyed wearing the yukata.
