I remember when this hotel was a Hilton. Complementary Breakfast, and happy hour for the adults. Between the coast of the Breakfast for a Camille of 5 and the cost to park your vehicle was very expensive for 4 day stay. I liked when it was the Hilton.

    - If you have kids and are planning on having them sleep on the pullout, it's really bright in there at night from the courtyard and loud. They don't seem to enforce quiet time. Also, the curtains, even with both pulled closed is still see through. - If you don't have kids, avoid this hotel. So many kids, and they have sports teams stay here for tournaments which floods the hotel with kids and large groups of people taking over a lot of the public spaces. - They add on 5 different fees in addition to your room fee. - Valet parking is mandatory and an additional $40 a night...6th fee. - breakfast buffet was actually really great and worth the $25, they don't let you take any to go food just FYI.

We recently stayed at Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The resort is beautifully maintained, and the all-suite accommodations were spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Tahoe. The location couldn’t be better—just steps from Heavenly Village, the gondola, shopping, restaurants, and the lake itself. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. We especially enjoyed the fun Margaritaville atmosphere, which added a unique and relaxing vibe to our stay. The resort amenities, including the indoor pool and hot tub, were a wonderful bonus after a day of sightseeing and adventure. Whether you’re visiting for a family vacation, a romantic getaway, or a mountain escape with friends, I highly recommend this resort. We made some wonderful memories here and look forward to returning on our next trip to Lake Tahoe! 🌴🏔️🍹 Thank you for a memorable stay! 🌴🏔️🍹

Dog friendly. Drinks were tasty. Not on the lake, but nice bar patio on the main drag for people watching. Good location.

Unfortunately, there is resort fees, in addition to daily valet fees. Daily value fees is $40 a night. It would be nice to advertise about these fees, ahead of time either on Expedia website or on the hotel website itself rather than having it as a surprise fee fees. The room was clean. The daily cleaning service also was really good. Not much amenities to justify the resort fees of $170 . The indoor pool and Jacuzzi full of kids. There is no included breakfast.. you have to pay 25 bucks. The valet staff were trying to work very hard, but unfortunately, due to the high season sometimes you have to wait for a while to get your car back. Overall, I think three stars is fair assessment.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel. The staff is so kind, it’s like they actually enjoy their job. The hotel itself is very clean and the pool is nice and upkeep as well. If you ever need anything, ask max or Tom!! They’re great!!

Great experience overall. The property is lively, clean, and the staff were all friendly. The only complaint was housekeeping. It was very minimal and not well done when they did come. We had to call several times as towels and drink glasses were taken but not restocked. One day they didn't come at all. Sometimes things were wiped down and cleaned up, other days the beds were made but the trash was still full and there was sand by the door. It was kinda weird as everything else about our stay was great. We'd go back, but it was disappointing to come back to a messy room at night.

The buffet was great! The room was clean when we arrived. The only issues we had was the parking is very expense $50 per night and the hotel was nice but the cost was a bit expensive. You can stay down the street at the Hilton Vacation Club and it's just as nice of a hotel as here but it's less expensive plus it's right on the lake.

absolutely love staying at margaritaville and it’s our go to place for the summer!

The all-suite rooms are fantastic. The on-site breakfast and coffee shop was very convenient. We loved sitting in the Adirondack chairs on the patio in the mornings with our coffee. And in the evenings we enjoyed the live music on the patio. The hotel is near all the great shops and restaurants.

Whenever we come to South Lake Tahoe, we stay at this location. The kids love seeing the pond with the fish and turtles since they were babies (now 11 & 8). We love that it has an indoor pool so no matter what the weather is, the kids can get their energy out after a long drive to ensure a good night’s rest. Merely steps away from the stateline so any itch to gamble is satisfied within minutes, with an easy return for bed. A few minutes in the other direction and you’re at the Heavenly gondolas. And a 5-10 min walk North gets you to the Lake. Breweries, restaurants, activities are all within reach without needing your car back from valet. The revamp to Margaritaville is a nice touch and the morning amenities were welcomed. We will, of course, be back.

I arrived at 4 OClock had to wait until 5:30 for my room to be ready, it was in the process of being cleaned. An hour and a half later I went back to the front desk and acquire about my room being ready, she found another room that was ready so she gave that to us. My bags never showed up, at 8 o’clock I had to go down to the front desk and inquire about my bags so I went to the valet department and got my bags. But everything else was fine. The lady at the front desk said she was going to wave the resort fee for waiting so long for the room.

There steakhouse was not open this whole time we where there , didn't have that on there web sight. And had to look at a stack of old sheets outside my room.
