1. Not family friendly. Request for crib was made in writing. Called the hotel an hour before arrival and spoke with staff who assured me that crib and sheets would be in our room. They were not aware of the crib request even though I see it still in our reservation. 2. At checkin, they only had 1 key. One key for 4 people? Hotel was not fully booked, yes, I checked the website. 3. Room was on the first floor in a newer/under remodeling section and entrance door would not close unless you lifted it up. 4. Bathroom shower had a ton of mold on the shower head. 5. Somehow, the bathroom door could not be closed unless you stepped into a shower to close it. The door literally opens several inches from the shower and the toilet. Getting in and out for one average built person was a dance.

You can't beat the location! The river is across the street. It's a classic hotel with attentive staff and comfy beds. I left my shoes in my room and the staff was super helpful holding and getting them back to me a week later!

It is very close to everything we wanted to do in Savannah, so we could easily walk to everything. The room was very humid (moist), so that gave the room a smell. We had a suite, and my slept on the couch bed. The couch cushions and the pull out bed were not very clean. My son found toenails when he pulled out the couch bed.

The location is fabulous!!! The River area is just across the street and and a block over, the down the stairs or an elevator to the fun! Out another door and the market area is half a block away- easy to catch the trolley and other attractions. The king size bedroom was quite small and laid out in an, err, interesting way: the toilet and shower in the bathroom, vanity and mirror in the bedroom just across from the bathroom door. Saying that, though, I did l like the room, the decor quirky and fun, and best of all it was nice and cool after steamy Savannah afternoons. We had a high room from which we could see the river. That was neat, and happened to see the ferry and GIGANTIC Container ships coming down the Savannah! Amazing! Check-in was easy enough. they gave us wooden tokens we could exchange for a cocktail in the evening at the bar, a big coffee urn held morning coffee and cold bottled water was available for free and believe me it was welcome multiple times- so those were very nice. I'd stay here again, but get out and about for breakfast. I guess our main dislike was the breakfast hour. It was unfortunate- for whatever reason, there was only one wait person in the morning, who did the seating and taking orders, serving, everything. it took up an extraordinary amount of time. The wait person was very sweet but that didnt make up for the totally unorganized way it was run. IT took forever to get seated, then coffee in my opinion shouldn't ever take another 15 minutes or more, then the food wait. I recommend a paper and pencil to write orders down on rather than remembering from the verbal order. Both days, items asked for after the initial food delivery never materialized. Had we not already booked breakfast, we would not have gone back. My husband and I both think this great hotel could use a few more cleaners on staff, particularly the floors. the dining room is cute but the floors need attention. The bartender was waiting on so many folks, time to clean up the bar as the night went on was needed. We had to sit at dirty places each night on our arrival back at the bar.

Room was upgraded for over 200$ extra but the bed and the room was dirty. Disappointed in that but everything is great except the hotel is old!

Wonderful. Customer service was incredible. The room was clean. The amenities are great. And the location was perfect.

Loved the experience and walking distance…only negative was a weird urine smell only in first floor. Our room was clean and smelled fine - not sure if the first floor smell had anything to do with rain during our stay.

The location was great Was a little pricey
-
Parking is more expensive than other properties and required valet. Waited an hour
-
We had an outdated tv that only picked up local channels. No streaming services for when you want to wind down for the night.

The location being close o the boardwalk in Savannah was great. Good selection of shopping and food around the location. Staff was accommodating for the most part. Gave us extra towels upon request. Parking was less than optimal since the only real options was street parking and $48 a night valet service. Rooms were a little small, but serviceable. Free breakfast was a basket of fruits, and the only fruits available while we were there was apples.
