Holiday Inn Rock Hill by IHG

Traveled for my son basketball tournament. Kids pulled fire alarm 7:30am waking up everyone in hotel resulting in everyone having to evacuate building. Later on that night kids were ding dong ditching and running making noise in hallways majority of the night. Police had to be called to kick out the responsible party. This is at 11:30pm when my 3 year old is trying to sleep. Requested refund with front desk who can’t do anything because manager is not there but requested our info. We are trying to get resolution but the hotel has their phone line turned off so they don’t receive any phone calls..

I always enjoying staying there! The breakfast is top tier! The staff is always nice and friendly!!!

I left my AirPods in my room and they were stolen by the housekeeping staff. Even after turning on protections where they could not use the AirPods, the staff yet still did not return the AirPods to the hotel. Very frustrating. Management was helpful in helping to retrieve but very frustrating to not be able to trust staff.

Location was convenient to the highway, shopping and an assortment of restaurants. The area was also quiet and looked pretty safe. The room was spotless and offered all the amenities I needed, including a Keurig coffee brewery. Overall it is a very nice option.

Experience was nice nothing to complain about

The hotel was beautiful, but we came for the indoor pool. It was freezing and didn't appear to be working great. Instead, we sat outside in the lounge area to get some sunshine. I am staying elsewhere for my next volleyball trip because I purchased for the pool access in between games.

Had to pay for breakfast. Not happy about that

A bit over-priced but grateful for a good night’s sleep in this extremely busy location. Comfy beds and a clean room is what we needed and received. Breakfast was a total joke. The property are obviously very proud of it, but it’s the same standard buffet as every other hotel who does the bare minimum. 5-6 people on staff and yet when I was there at 8:00am they’re out of everything… they surely had to make sure I had a coupon though. Wish we would have gone to Denny’s because this food was NOT EVEN Denny’s quality. IMO, powdered eggs & frozen biscuits = failure (thus my 3-star rating). Breakfast should be free, never again.

Staff friendly. Clean and breakfast was great.

The stay would have been excellent if not for the fire alarms that went off twice without explanation.
