The location was excellent. Very close to the convention center where I was attending an event. The atmosphere when you walk through the door was very pleasant and clean. I would recommend it to everyone who is visiting Richmond. I liked everything. It was clean in the room and throughout the whole establishment .

Location and vibe I had booked a queen room with a twin loft bed only to be told "you reserved a queen with twin loft but a group JUST came in and it is no longer available" I paid the same price for a single queen room

Location is good. The hotel feels more like a hostel and does not have standard hotel services for the price. They did not have extra pillows or blankets for the room (even though they said they were in a storage closet), they did not provide housekeeping, and staff were unavailable to answer calls to the front desk asking for basic items (more towels, pillows, etc.). The room was also miniscule, which is confusing for a city like Richmond.

Did not have it there as you have to wait for somebody to com and cook something It is a shame that booking .com can recommend this place. The registering is actually in the kitchen! The bedroom was so small I couldn’t go around the bed if my suitcase was open. The air conditioner was non existant only the heat was working. The shower door would constantly open while taking a shower and flooding the bathroom. Pornographic picture on the wall….. I could go on…. I will no longer use Booking.com

This was my first time at the Moxy. It's for those who cringe at the bland cookie-cutter hotels. This hotel encourages interaction among guests and has games and communal seating spaces galore.

I would not stay here for a trip longer than 2-3 days, as the in-room amenities do not support a super long trip. Staff was helpful and friendly; bartenders, too! You get a free drink ticket during your stay, and there are clear things to do at the hotel throughout the week.

Loud mechanical (difficult to sleep even with earplugs) and fitness room is lacking

Room was tiny and had no counter or desk to put my bag. Air conditioner leaked creating a puddle on the floor.

In room coffee would be amazing! While having it downstairs is great, I like to have a cup while getting ready.
