Room smelled like wet carpet. Very basic. Pillows uncomfortable. Nicely decorated. Parking was a plus. Nice cocktail bar.

Within easy walking distance of the State Capital Building, numerous restaurants and museums. Highly recommended!

Perfect location for walking

Loved the vibe. Loved the bar and free coffee in the morning on their cutie patio. Some cleaning details could be hit in the rooms. Washing the walls/doors. Loved the location. Staff was great. Room was cutie. If we needed to be in that Merrimon-Wynne area again I’d likely stay there.

Such a cute hotel! My stay was exceptional. Room was very clean and cozy. Staff were very helpful and provided us with a walking guide of things to do downtown. Location was perfect. The bar…great drinks and atmosphere. I will definitely stay here again!

The price, people, and place! I would have preferred a coffee maker in the room

If you would like a nice, retro, simple affordable one/two night stay, w/a cool front end lounge HIGHLY recommend...

Very unique affordable and clean property. The front desk staff was very helpful and I loved the layout. They also have a gorgeous lounge and bar area, back patio. I will stay there again.

It had a good lobby with delicious bold coffee. The staff was very friendly and there was a full bar in the little lobby. Parking was plentiful and easy. The beds were very comfortable. The ice machine was not working and was dirty inside

Really enjoyed having their delicious coffee on the patio every morning. Friendly and helpful staff, great location. Have already booked our next stay.

Such a cool retro hotel - very unique. Room was super clean and the staff bent over backwards to help and to answer questions. A cool part of the Raleigh experience.

Cute property- great vibes

It was a good place to say for the evening. I’ve stayed at more enjoyable places, but I’ve stated a lot less enjoyable places as well. It seemed like they clean very well. It looks like an older place that was remodeled and not too distant past. Staff was friendly, the coffee was pretty good. When it was in a great location within walking distance from the museum. It wasn’t the Hyatt, but I definitely stay again, no complaints.

This is a cool, boutique style hotel. Clean, comfortable, and a great value. Close to Campus is an added bonus! The only thing to consider is there is no elevator to reached second floor rooms, so having a large bag to tug up a flight of stairs was not exactly great, but not the end of the world either
