Very disappointing stay, especially considering the price. From the moment we arrived, the experience was poor. We had informed the hotel in advance about our arrival and requested early check-in, but despite arriving at 7 PM (well after the official 4 PM check-in), reception told us our room “might not be ready” because of late checkouts. That is simply not acceptable. What stood out the most was the attitude of the daytime reception staff — cold, dismissive, and rude. After a long flight, this completely ruined the excitement of arriving and set the tone for the rest of the stay. Unfortunately, the issues continued throughout: the room drawers would not close properly, the bed headboard was chipped and flaking (which felt unhygienic), towels were unusually small, housekeeping repeatedly failed to restock water, there was a water outage, and the room phone did not properly connect to reception or room service, forcing us to go downstairs for basic requests. At one point, after asking for water because it hadn’t been restocked, it took nearly 50 minutes and two reminders at reception just to receive two bottles. Individually, some issues may seem minor, but together they reflect poor maintenance, poor service, and a lack of care for guests. For the amount paid, this stay was far below expectations and not worth the price.

I listened to a friend and booked this hotel instead of a bigger name hotel that’s not a small boutique one. It wasn’t my favourite. The only good things about it were the location in SoHo and that we were able to check-in early after a red-eye flight. The first room was hot like a sauna and after some back-and-forth we got switched to a new room with a better view. But the new room’s ac was struggling biggggg time. We had to leave our blinds closed all day and couldn’t enjoy our room during the day as it was so hot. There’s no fridge, no tea kettle or any comforts that normal hotels have. The rooms were very dated and so was everywhere else but the main floor. The carpets were worn down, the bedframe was peeling where we put our heads, the baseboards damaged in the bathroom. When we would ask for assistance from the workers downstairs they were nice but not helpful for something as simple as calling a cab for us to go to the airport. Overall for the price, or slightly more, I would have stayed elsewhere to be comfortable.

As always the room was great. Great location. But this time the restaurant was closed for breakfast and closed at 4pm on our arrival day. So plan needed to change. Why I don’t know. But what a bummer. We looked forward to eating there.

Pros: fantastic location (perfect for metro and Uber pick up), good views from the rooms,

Atmosphere, employees, room and it’s view (bathroom with manhattan view was awesome), location are amazing. Minibar would be an missing point, and you could not order any drink after 10:00 pm from room service

Stayed for 3 nights with my daughter. The air conditioning broke down 2 of the 3 nights. When I told the check-out staff it had not worked (again) on the last night they did not even apologize! Unbelievable. The white headboards of the beds are so worn out that you can picture the heads of 1000 previous customers laying on it. Complete lack of interest in the customer, especially by the check-in/out staff.

The staff were really nice and the great location were the only good things about this hotel. The walls were dirty with marks everywhere, the headboard of the bed started to break apart and it was really nasty. I think they clean the rooms well but the hotel is very ran down which made it feel nasty overall. I think the people working there are nice but the owner of the hotel is trying to squeeze all profit without investing anything back to make it a good experience. For a 4 star hotel it didn’t even have a fridge, the hair dryer and iron machine were super cheap, old, dirty. The windows are not tight at all so even with the closed window we could hear everything outside so it was really loud.
