Karma Cappadocia

If you want the perfect Cappadocia accommodation experience, this is it. This hard-to-find little boutique hotel, perched on the escarpment in Uchisar and overlooking Pigeon Valley, is the perfect launching pad for your Cappadocia visit. Six rooms in total, including two huge rooms with bathtubs, is the perfect solution for an intimate experience, if you want to use Uchisar as your base to explore this popular region of Türkiye. The owner/host, Samet, was the consummate concierge. He helped us with an issue we had with our rental vehicle, and also recommended several interesting eateries. He also guided us on which sites offered the best opportunities for a fulfilling experience in Cappadocia. All in all, a gem of a find.

Exceptional

It was one of the best booked stays for me and my husband! We have chosen a suite with jacuzzi and pigeon valley view. The room was very comfy, we liked interrior, hospitality and it was very clean and warm inside. The breakfast was served on the top flloor, also with a nice view. We did not check the weather in advance and were a little sad baloons were not available to book, but despite that, we were able to plan our time well thanks to the offered tours. Gurkan was an amazing host and the rest of the staff too, we will recommend this place for sure. Location is around 10 min drive from Goreme, which is also nice as we wanted to be in a more peaceful area, breath out and enjoy our privacy. I think there were enough cafes near us, but we had quite an intense tours program and did not have a chance to explore around. 10 out of 10 we are happy with our choice.

The location, the hospitality top notch. The room was clean as well. The jacuzzi wasnt clean and water from jets smelled foul.

On arrival it gave off a very home like feeling. It feels like you came home from a vacation. We were greeted by Gurkan once we arrived. He kindly took our luggage and helped us check into our room. Very welcoming and kind. I’d recommend this place if you’re going to Cappadocia for vacation. 10/10 Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Very kind and helpful staff who go out of their way to help. Lovely room with view over the valley and jaccuzzi. Breakfast buffet was a bit small but very kind lady made omelets and menemen for the guests. Delicious food!

Great location Difficult to get to. Not the property fault.

Lovely location with outstanding views all day long, streets are peaceful and you can enjoy the sounds of nature and awe. Gürkan is a great host, with awesome recommendations for everything in and around Kapadokya. Definitely a must visit, and a must stay. Did I say there was a jacuzzi with the best views from the top. A-okay.

The position is close to Uchisar Castel and 10 minuts from Goreme, a perfect solution to visit Kapadokya and stay far away from turistic place. The room is confortable and very kind and the terrace view is amazing. Gurkan, the reception guy, helped us to rent a car and the last day prepared us travel food because we left early the hotel. A little bad smell from the shower.

The hotel is so small that you can't get coffee for a 7:30 AM departure. Breakfast doesn't open until 8:30. There was no closet and nowhere to hang clothes in the room.

The excellent hospitality by Mr. Gurkan & Mr. Ogi. A simple but good breakfast & tasty eggs prepared by the lady. All our needs were taken of well including support for sightseeing , right from before the arrival. Personal attention & quick response deserve tons of thanks.

From start to end, the stay here was amazing ?? The staff are beautifully down to earth, kind and super helpful to all of our inquiries and needs. The view is breathtaking and the whole area is incredibly relaxing. I cannot recommend this place enough to all, what a wonderful experience myself and my partner had 10/10. That we didn’t stay longer because we were leaving to Istanbul after a few days, but next time we will come back only to this place for a full week ??

Please change the color of the lights in the bathroom.

The lady serving the breakfast and the nigth shift personnel were so available and kind. Shampoo and hair conditioner had a good quality. The experinience of sleeping in a cave-styled room was nice. It was a clean place. Besides the good ones, the place had some issues to improve. Superior king suite has no window for fresh air as it is a cave-styled room, which was not explicitly stated in the description. Had a extreme level of humidity and only a small dehumidifier of which tank was full of water every couple of hours. The shower box had no door, after taking a shower the floor was all wet. We booked a suite with double bedroom but apart from the double bed we found an extra single bed without any blanket on it. It ruined the appearence of the room. They remowed the bed only after we requested two times and did not provided the oriental style sitting area as appears in the photos of superior king suite. They did not provided us with a jacuzzi foam after cleaning the room the second day. It is not a nice thing to have to ask for a thing that it would be provided just as they provide shampoo, shower gel etc. Breakfast was delicious but not with many varieties. Not satisfactory for who needs a sweet breakfast but for me salty breakfast was perfect. They had brewed coffee only one morning during our 3 nigths stay and I assume they brew coffee only if they have foreigners as guests. I thougth it was a place with a parking spot but leaving apart a parking spot, it was even difficult to reach the place by car due to narrow streets.

Excellent location, staff were so friendly and helpful, beautiful views over pigeon valley. Breakfast at Roof top terrace. Wifi only worked in the main areas, but was no issue.
