The staff were very helpful

Great location, just a block from the beach. Lovely hotel and courtyard. Well appointed rooms and very clean. Staff is so friendly. Onsite restaurant was just ok but you can Walk to several good restaurants. I appreciated the beach chairs. Hotel overall is a great value and I highly recommend. The only issue I found was the ballet parking. Very expensive, $45 per day, and not very efficient. On the day of checkout, I left the hotel at 7 AM. Valet service apparently does not start until 8 AM, so I had to walk to the parking garage to get my car, and still pay the $45 for valet. The hotel outsources to another company, and it does not seem to be working very well.

The hotel had a lot of character. Our room over looked pool and it was very nice

Great hotel, and great location!

This is a first class boutique hotel that is incredible value for Miami Beach. Don’t think we have ever found such naturally helpful staff. Truly exceptional.

EL PERSONAL MUY AMABLE PERO EL HOTEL NECESITA ALGUNAS RENOVACIONES , LA VERDAD ESTA MUY CARGADO EL LOBBY MUY SUCIO SU ENTRADA. LA PISCINA ESTILO MUY ANTIGUO DEBEN CAMBIAR VARIAS COSAS .

Not a very trans friendly place. They need to train their employees to treat better lgbt people. Pink money also needs respect. I don’t recommend this place.
-
The hotel rooms do not have traditional "do not disturb signs". They use these decorative rope tassels to signify to staff—not to enter. However, staff did not respect this and came into out room without permission.
-
I was disappointed that the hotel charged us taxes and extra fees. Could you please explain what those charges were for?

This was our second time staying at this hotel. We returned because we enjoyed the spacious room, the hotel staff, the amenities, and its proximity to the beach, restaurants & shopping. At the time, the pool was under construction & we did not find out until we checked in but we were able to access the rooftop pool at their “sister hotel” that was right at the end of the block so that was nice. Our second stay wasn’t the best experience. We booked the same room type - superior double - but the configuration of the room made it feel less spacious. There were two issues we had to complain about each day we stayed - the temperature of the room would not rise above 75 degrees and the temperature of the water in the shower was EXTREMELY hot. They sent the “engineer” up three different times and the issue was never resolved. That water could have caused 3rd degree burns and made it very difficult for us to comfortably take a shower. While the staff did attempt to rectify the situation, our consistent complaints and feedback on how it impacted our stay wasn’t enough for management to compensate us for the poor experience. After escalating our feedback, management finally agreed to at least refund the daily resort fees but we were disappointed in how hard we had to fight just to get that. Overall, we still enjoyed the provided amenities (at the hotel, the beach & access to both pools) and made the best of an uncomfortable situation.
