Super 8 by Wyndham McKinney/Plano Area

We actually checked out early and requested a refund. This hotel was very dirty and the other guests in the hotel were quite loud and frankly frightening. I did not feel safe here. Also, we went down for breakfast, and they were out of mostly everything and it was dirty. We have stayed at the Super 8 several times and always felt the price matched the stay, but this time, it was a NO for us. I think the cops were even called to our floor during our one night there.

Place is very dirty, and some really sketchy people hanging around. This is the kind of place that is more of a lower income apartment building. I will not be staying here again.

Room was not so clean

The place looks like a homeless place, and the smell of mariguana and people smoking it in the rooms! Very dangerous. But we just needed to sleep, it was a bit scary

The whole place was a mess to be associated with him. I was amazed that it was such a dump when I talked to Expedia they assured me they had a pool, etc. we get there. There’s no water in the pool. It was just an all-around poor experience I won’t ever stay at a super eight again

Very clean,friendly staff,lot of parking and the Asian buffet right next to was very good, stuff were very helpful n good location.

Breakfast need improvement..pancake for 3 days and cereal that's crazy..

Plain no amenities just ac bed breakfast a joke

They asked for unnecessary stuff and checking in, and the curtains had rips on them. The bed had stains, and the sheets felt sticky.

I saw dead cockroaches, a random dirty sock in the hallway, stains all over the carpet, the carpet felt sticky in places... Shower barely got hot even at full heat. Will not be going back here.

Paid in advance at hotels .com Went to the hotel and they had no rooms available even though I paid and booked online wih hotels.com..so far my money hasn't been credited back yet

The sounds from the adjacent roads were maddening and made sleep impossible. Additionally there was a car wash operating ten feet from other room's window. And I'm not even going to waste time trying to explain the horrible smell in the rooms. We were operating on 2 hours sleep in 24 hours and still could not sleep due to the noises. When we asked the front desk if we could please be moved to a different room the manager said "No" the cleaning staff is gone for the day and we're fully booked there's no where to move you to. Then I said then just check us out and cancel the other days. The manager said you can check out but there will be no refund because you are prepaid. I said fine we just want to leave. He then proceeded show us three different rooms that he eventually moved us to. We still checked out the next morning for a different hotel. Staff was helpful. Check-in was easy. Room was clean and about what is expected for the price. No coffee in the room but all day at breakfast. Convenient location

There were hairs everywhere in the bedroom. The shower handle didn’t work so there was no pressure and barely any hot water. The smoke alarm started chirping around 4 in the morning, battery was dead. When I went to the front desk and the night manager’s solution was to have me switch rooms instead of changing the battery. In the next room the TV didn’t work. On top of that the elevator sounded like it was about to break down.
