I accidentally booked an accessible room, and after seeing the condition of it, I genuinely felt compelled to advocate for accessibility rights because no one should be expected to stay in conditions like this, even for one night. The room didn’t resemble a normal hotel room at all. It looked like a collection of random leftover furniture thrown together, one desk, a single mismatched side table that looked like it came from Facebook Marketplace, and a sad, disheveled mini fridge sitting directly on the floor. The room itself was filthy. There were stains covering the ceiling and curtains, rust on nearly every metal surface, and an endless supply of dirty towels. The towels initially provided were a dingy gray color, and when we requested fresh ones, we received more towels covered in black marks and makeup stains. The toilet had visible urine stains on top of the lid, making it obvious the room had not been properly cleaned before our arrival. To make matters worse, the water smelled absolutely foul, like something had died in the pipes. The odor was so rotten and unpleasant that I was hesitant to use the sink or shower. I was honestly too afraid to even inspect the bed sheets. The customer service was just as disappointing as the room itself. The front desk employee showed little to no concern about the condition of the room and actually tried to reassure me by pointing out that “at least the bathroom is large.”

AC makes lot of noise.

The room doesn’t have much besides the beds and beds tv. Staff weren’t attending at all. No one come clean our rooms after days of staying and when we called and asked for more shampoo and toilet paper. The staff told us that he will bring them over but they never arrived. Terrible service and communication. Go and stay here if you’re by yourself and is only there for beach activities. If you are with your family, you better off taking them somewhere else nicer.

A small continental breakfast was offered which excited me, but was very disappointed. The room is not kept clean throughout the morning and not restocked, 3 of the 5 days they ran out of the prepackaged muffins. Cereal, half filled cups and bowls, spilled items everywhere and trash overflowing. The coffee was only lukewarm and although the juice machine shows two different choices, regardless of what you choice, you only get apple juice. Use of a single small microwave is offered in the hallway but not even on a table. The man at check in when we arrived was very pleasant, and all other employees always smiled and said hello. The parking was a plus and great location.

I stayed a week so there were a number of issues. The room was supplied with disgusting stained towels. The mattress was so horribly lousy that I kept waking up all night trying to be comfortable. In the morning I asked the front desk to please help by supplying additional pads to the matttess. I was told it’ll be done. When I returned after a long day to find out it never happened. I went back again in the morning next day with the same concerns only to be told they will take care of it. Guess what? Nothing was done. At all for the rest of my stay. One of these days, I got back to my room late at night to find zero towels in the room. Exhausted of repeated poor service, I had to go back to the front desk. The furnitures were really outdated, worn down. They really need to upgrade the furnitures and most definitely improve the mattress. Their low quality customer service is a big turn off. Such a disappointment. They really need to improve if they want to be a great place to stay. They started charging for parking in their garage which they did not do in the past so that’s a big letdown. There were a couple vehicles who were broken into right off the street right by the hotel. Manhattan Beach is a fantastic town so this is unfortunate.

NEVER brought a mirror and also could never get the wifi to work. I’m pretty tech savvy and still no luck. Was a crap stay and definitely would NOT stay again. Walls were thin and felt super dirty.

The Hotel Pacific Manhattan Beach was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. One could ask “didn’t you read the reviews before booking your stay?” Actually I DID read the reviews, many of which were glowing and praiseworthy. This led me to wonder who on earth highly recommended this hotel and gave it a 10/10 rating? On arrival, after a long, arduous flight across the country, my son and I were first given a room that was under construction. Exhausted, we had to traipse back to the hotel office and were then given another room that was abysmal, gloomy and sad, devoid of any personality with many standard hotel fixtures missing, first and most importantly the mirror. I was unable to apply makeup or fix my hair during my entire stay here, nor was my son able to shave. I stopped by the office to request a mirror and was told the maintenance staff would bring one (but they never did– surprise surprise). Second, there were not enough towels! In all the hotels where I’ve stayed there was a wall-mounted towel rack in the bathroom stocked with numerous different-sized towels, but not here. I had to ask several times for additional towels and was informed they had none on hand (no towels?? in a hotel??), but my room number was noted and I was promised more towels were on the way. Towels should NOT have to be requested in a hotel!! There were tiny toiletries (body wash, shampoo, etc) simply placed on the bathroom counter that would have been so (see Google reviews for more info)

Room- horrible- 1 wash rag, 2 towels with holes. We called front desk & requested for 2 additional towels and got hung up on. No bath mat to step on coming out of shower. Physically went to front desk to request 2 towels again, the clerk pulled 2 unfolded towels out of cabinet. Very unprofessional. Noise all day & night. Mostly coming from the room itself. The bathroom exhaust fan sound like a washing machine very noisy. A/c noisy. VERY VERY VERY UNSATISFIED. Will NEVER book here again.. to top it off their complementary breakfast was a room, the size of a handicap bathroom stall with only a few things in there two kinds of cereal, a coffee machine, and a toaster. We went to pour a cup of coffee and no coffee came out. This sums up our whole visit. This place is a friggin joke.

Covers was dirty had blood toliet was taped just horrible

Towels were dingy. It was strange to see the microwave outside in the smoking area. But the room was spacious, clean ans pretty quit, the bed was thw best part of the stay.

Spacious room but parking is small lot. Be careful when coming in and out of the garage. Would be nice if rooms had microwave. Not sure if they were guests but there was consistent marajuana usage which was a bummer when transporting our baby.

We clearly were assigned one of the worst rooms available. The room was worse than a motel 6 with old beat up furniture and no where near the pictures on the site. We were refunded our second night because the manager knew what he gave us, THAT was the ONLY positive.
-
Room was clean and spacious but the bed was uncomfortable. There were cockroaches in the bathroom when the lights were turned on in the morning. I did not eat the breakfast but it did not look to be more than some bread and a type of cereal or two. The staff was ok but didn’t seem overly welcoming.

It was good

The staff were excellent. Check-in was easy. So was check-out. They helped me keep my luggage in the locker before I checked in, and also when I checked out. The hotel was affordable and in an excellent location. Starbucks, Dunkins, Target and other places are within walking distance. Walk to the Manhattan Beach is long by foot and some uphill climbing is needed on way back. Walk down Manhattan Beach Bl to get to the beach and back. There are NO other routes connecting Sepulveda and the beach. The beach is beautiful. CONS of the Hotel: The internet in the room was never on. TV did not have any channels that worked without internet. Shower has hot water but if you keep dial in the middle. It is cold water where it says hot water. PLAN AHEAD: The washer-dryer needs coins.
