If you are looking for a charming, historic hotel that makes you feel like you have stepped back in time- this is the one. Being served on the veranda sitting in comfy chairs and admiring the giant magnolias = perfection. The staff is wonderful, and the complimentary breakfast was just right. Sadly, no ghosts visited us, but maybe next time.

This was indeed one of the places that my partner and I have stayed in! We loved the hotel staff and they were very accommodating. The town was amazing and there was so much to learn from. It is safe to say that we will be back to this inn again!

The staff is nice and welcoming. We were offered appetizers when we checked in. They do not have a restaurant, but they do have an honor bar. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Easy walk down to down. We will definitely stay here again.

We love this hotel and its staff! Gloria is a rare gem and makes the best old fashioned ever! Everything from comfort to location and beauty exceeded our expectations! Oprah stayed here and the history of the hotel is so interesting! We will be back and we highly recommend this hotel!

We would still return but maybe give breakfast a miss !

This place was so quaint and cute right in the middle of town. It was close to everything we needed to get to. We went for a girls night to a concert at the amphitheater and it was great. We will be back for sure.

Beautiful, clean room in a very historic building, wonderful breakfast, and the building was in a very safe walkable neighborhood.

Great place to stay. Wish we would have had more time to enjoy the grounds. Next time!

The only thing “charming “ about this inn were the people. It was one of the dirtiest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. There was mold on the shower head. I wiped some off with a wet washcloth. If some came off for me, can you imagine what a cleaning solution could do. There was nothing that wasn’t stained, dusty, broken. The keys are huge so they recommend you leave them when you go out. It felt like a dorm picking it up at 10pm. It’s a shame they let it get to this condition.

Awesome old mansion. Only complaint was the bathroom could have been better maintained and updated. Overall great place to stay and would highly recommend.

Very nice historical hotel. The reception was good and the gal even gave us some appetizers and a lot of advice as where to go.
