N/A. The poor explanation offered to guests on the amenities.

Clean room, great facilities and good location. I’d say the only downsides for me is that there’s too many locks throughout the property (a total of 4 to go through before you can enter your room - 1 at the main entrance, 2 to enter the building and 1 to enter the room) and since there’s no on-site staff you have to message them on Expedia and wait for a response and they can be a little slow). Overall I was quite pleased with the property, just those small things were a little annoying at first.

Now, the hostel is dodging calls from Expedia trying to get a refund on my behalf. I would urge travelers to think twice before booking here.

No staff to assist. No communinication besides the generic information. Nobody answered the phone. We could not locate our room and we were forced to find another place. They will not answer our messages regarding a refund.

It was convenient to Sunset Blvd, Silver Lake and Hollywood The spiral staircase to access 2nd floor (bathroom) and 3rd floor (bedroom) was extremely tight, narrow and steep. Hard to get my carryon suitcase up, a larger suitcase would not fit.

Beautiful decor Thin walls

Good location. Good value. Clean. Nice retro decor. Small rooms with no windows. Poor air circulation. No human contact.

Amazingly decorated, clean rooms, shared spaces were always clean, and in such a great location. Checking in was a little rough but I would absolutely stay here again!

I liked the ambiance & the view we had! The property is very cute, our room had a balcony & the decor made me feel like i was in a vampire’s house. There was some confusion at check in surrounding overbooking, but it was handled immediately which is nice. It’s very cute & clean, but could definitely use some maintenance.

The authenticity of the property it was so unique ? Nothing I can think of

The rooms decor have a vintage vibe that make it feel cozy. The bathrooms and bedrooms are nice and clean. There aren't handicap bathrooms. This is not a problem for me, but it can be a problem for people who have mobility issues.

only complaint was figuring out the codes and entry doors. seemed like a lot but really wasn't so bad.
-
I will stay again. Perfectly situated between USC, UCLA, Dodger Stadium.

Super cool. Convenient placed and warming Decode

Didn't realize it was a house with shared bathroom. Virtual check-in was terrible. could not talk to anyone in person. LAPD pounded on our bedroom door at 4 AM because someone called about a noise complaint. We had been asleep for 5 hours

You can clearly hear the people in the next room, even if they're just talking at a normal level. (There are plenty of free earplugs though.). There's a fridge in the shared area but I guess you're not supposed to use it, since I found the things I put in there stuffed in the trash the next morning, even though they were clearly marked with my name and checkout date. (And it was bottled drinks and other packaged goods, not stinky leftovers.)

Very clean and comfortable. Slightly sus fellow guests. Odd people.

Creepy mirror above the bed for no reason

Hotels.com did not pay the $ I gave them for my room days in advance until the day I was going so the link the Rosemary sent me to send my id did not work when I got their email which caused me a lot of confusion. I called the Rosemary to get the right info of when to fill out their form. Also when I came to the hotel late at night I would of appreciated it if there was a light over the keypad.
