Moxy Downtown Los Angeles

Over all my stay was pleasant. It was disappointing the paid breakfast with only two options. Also the wait to get the food from the coffee shop on site was over 30 minutes.

New, clean, beautiful. Love it

Room was very narrow for the corner room. Terrible space for sink and counter. Did t like it at all. Was clean but not worth it.

LOUD music all the time. Barely any sleep for 4 days

Fun vibes and plenty of choices! I loved my stay at the Moxy! Prime location, fine dining, and near everything!

The ambiance in the lobby is dark and small. The hallway of our room smelled like weed. The valet service was excellent and informative. The ice machines didn’t work on 3 room floors and we ended up finally getting ice from the fitness room. I think next time I’d rather stay in the connecting hotel AC hotel.

Amazing and Clean rooms. Definitely worth the price. Such amazing views and was spotless. Don't second guess your stay book NOW.

It is close to the arena The small shower and bathroom in general, being charged double by the cafe downstairs and management not having any care to fix their mistake. I also was told breakfast would be served and when I went down at 730 there wasn’t any food to be found. The pool was closed at 4pm which makes no sense when we can check in no earlier than 4pm. It limits the access to the amenities the customer is paying for. I won’t be staying here again, I rather pay the 60 bucks for parking at the arena. They don’t even comp parking for guests having to pay up to 40 dollars for parking.

Everything was great with one exception the Marriott and Moxie Hotel were merged or taken into two pieces so getting to understand the elevators is quite an adventure

See below Our overall experience at Moxy Downtown Los Angeles was disappointing, especially considering the price we paid. We were surprised at check-in by mandatory daily destination fees that had not been clearly disclosed during the booking process. We were also effectively forced to use food and beverage credits for meals that did not meet our expectations, although one of the reasons we had booked without breakfast was precisely because we preferred to eat elsewhere. The room was clean and the hotel's location was very convenient, which are the main positive aspects. However, several basic amenities expected from a hotel of this category were missing. There was no refrigerator or coffee maker in the room, and basic items such as water, toothpaste and other toiletries were not readily available and had to be requested separately. The room was rather small, with only a shower and no bathtub, and soundproofing was poor, making it easy to hear noise from surrounding rooms and hallways. Food quality was mediocre, while valet parking was extremely expensive without discount for customers (around $66 per day before taxes). Customer service was inconsistent. Most staff members were not particularly welcoming, and our experience at reception when requesting an invoice for tax purposes was especially disappointing. The employee assisting us appeared uncertain about the process and claimed that certain details, such as the address information, could not be included, making what should have been a simple request unnecessarily difficult. Overall, although the property is centrally located and clean, the combination of hidden charges, lack of basic amenities, poor sound insulation, expensive parking and unsatisfactory customer service means that we would not choose to stay here again and cannot recommend it as good value for money.

Two problems I came across…. 1) the room is dark if curtains are closed. The lights didn’t turn on during the day. I’m assuming the light switches are on a timer. 2) the hydration station lacked ice and the water was warm. Other than that it was a great stay.
