the only thing I like about it was the AC and how close it was to the location I needed to be. The staffing was really horrible. They didn’t wanna address any issues I had with the hotel room I was staying in. Staffing was never there when I needed something they weren’t in the desk while people waited as well. The room wasn’t clean at all. I found a nail in my drawer ... really unsanitary. The doorknob was broken when I got there didn’t bother to fix it till my 3rd stay. Didn’t replace the toilet paper went in and found half a toilet paper used? didn’t bother putting new rolls. Ripped bath towels ?

The property was close to the location I had to attend while staying in LA . By far the filthiest place I ever been . Everything. Dirty, Dirty, Dirty . Unsafe the doors don’t lock just latch on the door . The entire place smells like cat pee literally. Please don’t attempt to clean it up blow it up and start over with a new plan because it horrible.

Where do I start?. First of all, it's located in the middle of a homeless camp and there's trash everywhere. The hotel itself is used as a home for indigents and we were surrounded by rooms full of garbage with open doors, and drug addicts and homeless.

Absolutely nothing. They use this place as a homeless shelter. False advertisements on booking platforms. Room was dirty. Homeless people everywhere. Did not feel safe at all here. This is definitely not a 3 star hotel like they advertised it as. Run down. Gross.

Everything! This is not a holiday spot, it is a residence. There were altercations outside our room all night .We needed security- unsafe. Floors were dirty, marijuana smell everywhere. Not as advertised. Located under a freeway, can¿t walk to much.

Absolutely nothing, it was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The location and the surroundings are really sketchy. The hotel is basically a homeless shelter with a few security guards. We got followed by a homeless person as we were trying to get into the hotel. It did not feel safe at all. It also seems that some residents are doing drugs inside the hotel (we saw people carrying cannabis pipes and some rest of joints near our room). The room we stayed at was dirty and smelled awful. No room services. Our room card stopped working two days in a row. We ended up leaving earlier than planned as this hotel made our stay in LA quite unpleasant. I don’t even understand how such a place can be booked on booking, it is definitely not a place for tourists to stay at.

Hello, I made a reservation in advance at this hotel, but they notified me on the day of check-in to cancel two hours before my stay. They said there was a problem with the water pipes, and there were no rooms available. Let's assume that's true. However, they still charged me around 200 dollars for the hotel, and the money was deducted from my card. I've sent emails to booking.com and Silverlake Hotel asking for a refund, but there's been no response. It seems like a place that steals money from tourists. It's pretty run down on the outside. Hall lights flickered, stairwell grimy and paint peeling. Walking past a security guard and a homeless man in the lobby to find staff behind what appeared to be bullet-proof glass did not leave me feeling safe.

The only thing this property has going for itself is the location. The room smelled of mold. The shower had mold in it. The curtains hadn’t looked like they have been cleaned in years. The hotel really needs an upgrade it was quite literally falling apart. When outside you can see the building is literally falling apart. It looked like we jumped in time back to the 1950s and nothing was clean. There was a literally homeless encampment in the parking lot and some people who may or may not have been on drugs walking around. They claimed to have security 24/7 but we did not see security at night. It was so bad we gave up the money and decided to stay somewhere else. For how much it cost it was most definitely not worth the stay.
