Club Quarters Hotel Downtown, Houston

Dès mon arrivée, j'ai constaté que l'établissement paraissait beaucoup plus vieux et défraîchi que sur les photos. La chambre dégageait une odeur de renfermé, les meubles et armoires montraient clairement des signes d'usure, et l'ensemble aurait bien besoin d'être rafraîchi avec des travaux de peinture. Les draps n'inspiraient pas la propreté attendue d'un hôtel de cette catégorie et semblaient très usés. Quant à la salle de bain, la baignoire était dans un état que j'ai trouvé peu acceptable. J'y ai séjourné trois nuits. Même après le passage du service d'entretien, la chambre semblait à peine avoir été nettoyée. Le niveau de ménage était loin de ce que l'on est en droit d'attendre d'un établissement annoncé comme un 4 étoiles. Le point le plus décevant a toutefois été l'expérience au petit-déjeuner. Mon séjour incluait le petit-déjeuner, mais lorsque je me suis présentée au restaurant vers 9 h, j'ai été accueillie de manière froide et peu professionnelle. On m'a indiqué que je ne pouvais pas prendre le petit-déjeuner, sans explication claire. J'ai eu l'impression de déranger plutôt que d'être une cliente de l'hôtel. Le manque de courtoisie et de considération du personnel a rendu cette situation particulièrement désagréable. Pire expérience de ma vie.

The air conditioning went out and was not able to move to another room

Nice location downtown. Room was small but comfortable. Very friendly staff. You're paying for access to Houston, this isn't a luxury property or anything, but it was very convenient to sleep and shower in between activities.

- I stayed in room 213 and for a standard room it is spacious. - Queen bed with a pull-out couch. A kitchen table with two full size chairs. Two TVs. A kitchen with a stove. Espresso machine. - a unique system for ice and water. They have a water station to fill up water bottles on every floor. Cons: I felt valet parking could have been a little bit more efficient. $47 and change for valet is a bit much. - trying to get to room 213 was confusing once you got on the floor. However I would definitely book here again.

Other than the parking situation at this hotel, everything was great.

The room due to the rain had a leak in the roof. I asked for extra towels that were not received, even thou i contacted guest services and housekeeping. Should have booked a different hotel. My valet was waived due to the mishaps.

Amazing place to stay. Highly highly recommended this hotel.

The restaurants they are next to the gym. They was very dirty.

I will definitely stay there the next time we go to an Astros game!

This hotel was great for my short solo stay in downtown Houston. Very comfortable, friendly / helpful staff and a convenient location. Would stay again and recommend. There was complimentary hot drinks in the lobby and a great restaurant adjoined to the hotel The only thing I can think of was the floor / carpet was still a little wet (guessing from a clean) when I got into my room. By the next morning it had dried and I didn't say anything to staff

Even before arrival I received excellent comms about online check in in advance of arrival. A warm, genuine, welcome from the lovely lady on front desk doing the late shift. Quick no fuss check in. Location was fantastic and just around the corner from the airport bus direct to terminal E at IAH. Light rail stop just metres away on Main Street. Only stayed one night on late evening arrival from New Orleans before flying home to NZ so fit the bill perfectly. Room nicely appointed if a bit dated, nice quality 'Bigelow' toiletries. Great value as far as my experience of US city hotels concerned A little dated but can't really complain given the value proposition. Not many eating options around late evening but that's not the hotel's fault. Houston is a bit of a ghost town in the evening once the suits flee home to the burbs.

Location The room was older, toilet hard to flush, shower took a while to get hot.
