Homewood Suites by Hilton Ft. Worth-North at Fossil Creek

We were awakened on our last night @ 4am but our room flooding from the ceiling from the above rooms AC unit. Clothes, bags and other personal items soaked. We called down to the front and were given another room but first we're told he only had king bed rooms (there were 4 of us) after explaining to him that we wouldn't fit he said well I guess I can give you two rooms. He called back a few mins later and found another suite. The new suite was fine but was hot. We were told by Saga (front desk clerk) that the manager would be in in the morning and would be able to give us some type of reimbursement to replace the items and help with the sudden displacement. But of course "no manager on staff" that morning and that they would be in contact with us later. We weren't offered anything and not an even "I am sorry" from any employee. We were literally throwing things in bags that weren't wet to get out of the room because the ceiling was bowing down with water in four spots. Hotels.com contacted the property and were told they would contact us soon but our contact info on the receipt was incorrect and was some random address so I am doubtful we will hear anything back

The hotel was in a unique state of construction. There's some things that were kind of a turn off, but I see the direction they are headed and hopefully the next time we are in Fort Worth will give him another shot.

The suite was so nice. Roomy and the fact there was a door between the bedroom and common area.

Excellent room. Had all the things that were advertised on the site. The hotel was being renovated and perhaps that should have been included. It only included specific floors so it was not very visible unless one took the stairway or walked around the back.

Cristal at front desk were very friendly and helpful. Crystal make us feel welcome

I like the fact that I was able to get breakfast at no additional cost and tea or coffee any time of the day. The tv in the room was not smart tv, I was not able to watch tv/youtube

The property was in a nice location. The staff was super friendly. Nice and very helpful.

The breakfast was great! Place looked like some parts were under construction so some debris in areas from that. I wish they would have come and cleaned the rooms while we were there, instead of just before and after. Overall pretty good though! I loved the room itself very pretty and clean.

When we arrived at the hotel they told us they didn't have a room for us because they were under construction and the type of room (a two bedroom suite) we booked wasn't available. Something that probably should have been communicated before our arrival. After pushing the front desk clerk to do something since we did have a reservation she offered to put us into two rooms which was not ideal as it either meant our teenage kids would be in a room alone, or my husband and I would be split up with the kids, not really ideal for a family vacation. We had been driving 15 hours and were exhausted so we accepted, but there was no apology for this confusion. The hotel was nice but the lack of customer service and proper communication about the construction was really disappointing.

Big room with multiple bathrooms, TV, and useful kitchen. Plenty of towels but could use better shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash. Overall satisfied, 8/10.
