Lago Mar Beach Resort & Club

Room was great and so was the pool. Beach access was super simple and the club provided towels. Chairs were available to rent and you can not take your own food or a cooler down so that was a slight inconvenience walking back to buy a beer or food. All around a great place close to cruise terminal. Would absolutely go back.

We loved the hotel. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. For an older hotel it was properly maintained to keep its original beauty. First time here and we would definitely stay here again. The pool was wonderful and the restaurant food was delicious!!

Beautiful resort on private beach. Lots of amenities and on-site shops and restaurants. Short driving distance to Las Olas district or Fort Lauderdale beach and malls. Very family oriented, friendly and clean.

This is a beautiful resort that we had a very good time before our cruise for a few days we were there. Close to the cruise port has its own beach. You really don’t have to leave the resort. Everything is there if you don’t want to venture out. We will definitely be back!

Loved this resort for my family before our cruise!

The rooms are spacious, clean, and quiet. The breakfast bar had a good amount of options, including an omelet bar, fresh made pancakes or waffles. The pool was clean and offered plenty of seating around the deck. There were other activities around the pool to partake in as well. The beach was quite a walk from the hotel. The chairs and umbrellas were not included for hotel guests though. While it was out of the resorts control, the seaweed was abundant and made the beach look dirty as it brought in lot of trash, sand flies, and smelled terrible. Almost all resort workers were wonderful, they greeted us each time we passed by and asked if there was anything we needed. We didn't stop for drinks at the bar, but the atmosphere was nice. I'd say the food and drink prices were a tad high for what they were, but expected in a resort area.

Family oriented. Nice clean pool, pickle ball, mini golf, basketball, volleyball, floor chess. Great bar by pool and beach. Excellent food. Spacious rooms, free parking.

You can tell this isn't a one-time deep clean before check-in; it's clearly a standard they hold every single day. That attention to detail makes a real difference in how relaxed you feel. The property is beautiful. Sitting right on the Atlantic, the private beach access is a genuine highlight — spacious and far less crowded than public stretches nearby. The pool area is equally impressive, with plenty of lounge space and that same spotless upkeep found everywhere else on the property. The vibe is classic Florida resort: unhurried, elegant without being stuffy, focused on letting guests enjoy themselves. Staff were attentive and friendly without hovering. If you're looking for a Fort Lauderdale beach stay that delivers on comfort, cleanliness, and a true sense of escape, Lago Mar is hard to beat. Would absolutely return.

the size of the suite was great; it was very roomy. I loved the pools and other activities were very nice and fun. the walk to the beach was very nice, right in the backyard to say. I will definitely come back!

This resort has everything! Lots of things for families to do. The pool area is amazing with live music on the weekends. Food is delicious and easily accessible. It’s very clean and has beautiful old world charm. We’ve stayed here 3 times now and plan to keep going back. It’s nothing short of amazing.
