I would definitely stay here again!
-
There’s no pool, but the food is absolutely amazing! Everything we tried was delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and attentive throughout our stay. We also added the breakfast, and it was well worth it—the yogurt was phenomenal. We loved everything about this hotel and would definitely stay again!

Very nice place to stay. Restaurant food was simple but very delicious.

We just loved this cute hotel. It is built in an old school and the vibe it gives off is spacious and fun. The details of the decorations all tie in with an old school feel. The restaurant/bar had great food and drinks. It is located in a great spot to walk to other things in down town. The area was nice and safe. The employees at the front desk were friendly and knowledgable. We will definitely stay here again.

The slate Hilton in Denver is conveniently located very near the central business district. The performing arts center and the convention center. Also, nearby is the Denver art museum. It is an unusual hotel in that it is a converted schoolhouse. The rooms are a bit smaller than normal. The staff is good. The cleanliness is good and I'd say it's a thumbs up.

Room was clean, but shower stall had rust and caulking was loose. Otherwise, the room was very clean. Staff was very nice. Breakfast food was very good.

This is such a cool hotel!

The breakfast is good and offers a nice way to start the day. One of my favorite parts of staying here is relaxing by the fireplace in the evening. It has become a tradition for me whenever I visit and is the perfect place to unwind after a busy day. Overall, the staff, atmosphere, and amenities keep me coming back. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to my next stay.

It was a quick overnight business trip for me and the Staff at front were very helpful. I had dinner in the restaurant which was very good, service good, I did not have breakfast at the hotel, approx. 10 min from my conference. No comment really

The atmosphere of a renovated school turned into a hotel was what brought us here to begin with. It sits in a prime location, and was near the venue we were there to visit. The rooms were very nice and had plenty of space. We did not take advantage of "The Teacher's Lounge" bar and grill off the lobby, but we walked by it quite a few times, and it looked very nice. It also had a small 'convenience station' near the lobby where you could purchase snacks that was an excellent addition in my opinion. Parking. Plan to take advantage of the valet parking they offer. The alternative is public parking that uses paid parking meters during the week (as explained to us by the staff) and if you can find a spot; so that is not ideal. If there were alternatives, we didn't know of them.

The Slate is a well maintained property. The room was spacious, front desk personnel were very helpful. Would recommend this Hotel. The old school is evident in the decor and the name of the lounge.
