The girl at the desk was wonderful as far as she was concern however, my room was downstairs in the basement area. It felt uneasy somewhat. Breakfast time, there was an empty can of spray for the waffle machine which didnt matter since the waffle batter dispenser was empty. My room was ok and was told there would be a 100 dollar deposit which would be returned in 7 to 10 business days but after seeing i was from the next town they changed deposit to 250. I was there camping when a storm came up so i booked the room.

Amazing staff. So friendly. The hotel was so clean. Only thing I wish I knew was that the extended stay is inside of the hotel hotel rooms. The hawthorn rooms are on the outside of the hotel. Breakfast was phenomenal. Overall wonderful stay. I will be back

Our stay was OK. Needs some updates and cleaning. Staff was very helpful and pleasant

The rooms have exterior entrances and appeared to house long term residents. Many of the ground floor rooms had their doors open, allowing anyone walking by to see inside. You could clearly see mattresses on the floor and personal belongings throughout the rooms, making the property feel more like long term housing than a hotel for travelers. There also appeared to be contract workers living on site and working on the property. The overall atmosphere felt more like a low budget motel than the hotel shown in the photos. The online pictures are misleading and do not accurately represent the current condition of the property. Throughout our stay, we were constantly itching and did not feel comfortable. The building is outdated, poorly maintained, and in desperate need of major renovations. It appears to operate as two hotels within the same building, which added to the confusion and disappointment. The front desk employee was kind and helpful, and my concerns are not directed at the staff. However, paying $527 for three nights was not worth the experience. This property needs significant remodeling and improvements before it should be offered

This hotel is very close to Fort Jackson. Danyel was very helpful and kind at check in. Hot and cold breakfast available. Great to place to visit. Plenty of places to eat-out nearby.

We had traveled hours on the road just to get there and the lady say that they didn’t take certain debit cards so then we tried to pay cash. They didn’t take cash. We couldn’t load the money up on the card that they would take because it was late at night. The lady wouldn’t work with us. I don’t know her name, but I do know she is a black lady heavyset with blonde hair then she started being rude catching an attitude. She canceled our room and told us to go somewhere else horrible experience. I will never ever book there, and I will never ever mention them to nobody else. I’ve never heard of a hotel only take certain debit card or credit card payment payments even though we had the money we couldn’t use our cars to pay for the room and the cars they would take. We had to load the money up onto those particular cards, but we couldn’t because it was so late at night. This was a horrible experience coming off of the road driving all night just to get turned around and say you can’t stay here.
