This was the worst hotel and hotel room that I have ever stayed in. Thank goodness it was for just one night on a longer trip/journey. The property is really a tear down and rebuild property....there is nothing to build off of or to restore. Filthy is the best way to describe the property. The room had dirt and stains everywhere. Curtain was broken, light bulbs missing, toilet paper holder was broken. Amenities were terrible. Dresser drawers were either broken or did not close. There were no hangers. I was lucky the A/C worked.

Booked a non-smoking room and both rooms had a really bad odor of cigarettes.

Nothing Lights were broken. Toilet seat was loose just generally out condition that should have been.

The dresser was broken. The room had two doors that connected our room to other rooms that were taped off which was a little scary. The bathroom door didn’t lock

DIDN'T HAVE BREAKFAST. THE CLOSENESS TO ENVERYTHING IS WHAT MAKES THIS LOCATION A PLUS. YOU DO HAVE TO TRAVEL TO GET CLOSE TO ANYTHING OF INTEREST. OFF THE BEATEN PATH SO NOT MUCH TRAFFIC NOISE, BUT THERE IS A VERY BUSY RAILROAD THAT RUNS BESIDE IT THAT IS MUCH LOUDER THAN THE TRAFFIC. WANTED TO STAY ANOTHER NIGHT BUT WAS REFUSED DUE TO COMPLAINTS THAT I WAS TOO NOISY AND LOUD. I HAD A FRIEND STOP BY AND WE CHATTED FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS. OUTSIDE OF THAT I WAS WATCHING MY TV. I GUESS BECAUSE MY FRIEND LOOKED A LITTLE INTIMIDATING, HE MUST HAVE SPOOKED THEM. AFTER ALL, HE WAS BLACK AND THE RODEWAY INN, COLONIAL HEIGHTS, VA., HAS BEEN KNOWN FOR DISCRIMINATION OF RACE AND FINANCIAL STANDING. THIS IS ONE CHAIN (CHOICE) I WILL NEVER STAY AT AGAIN SINCE THEY ALLOW THIS PRACTICE.

Paint & caulking in terrible shape; broken chain on door latch; broken dresser; no sprinkler system; maybe no smoke detector (foil cover on wall may cover one; garbage heaped outside door; one wall light by bed torn off; only one glass on sink; no "quiet hour" (loud talk outside, horns honking late); no hangers for clothes;

Nothing, this was very dirty and insecure The door had no kind of security, the lacquer above the door was broken, the bathroom was totally dirty and the place looked abandoned, even if they offered me breakfast just to see the condition of the property I would not eat it. But it was a deception because in the reservation it presents that it would have breakfast included when that is not true, they did not even have coffee available

Nothing There were roaches everywhere. The room didn't have a TV in it There was a big refrigerator in the way so I couldn't get to bathroom in my wheelchair

Overall condition. Drafts around door/HVAC push vehicle exhaust fumes into the rooms (vehicles back in parking & warming up for extended periods in cold weather). Roaches/BB bites
